Have you got the pirate and badrukk pictures mixed up? TI only ask because te ork pirate looks like he should be the boss, and badrukk looks a bit naff - he looks more like I imagined snikrot to look, sort of.
Ooooo, I really shouldn't have looked at that Battlewagon after having come home from seeing Death Race...
I've been bouncing up and down on my bed with my fists tucked underneath my chin like a some kind of girly animé character chanting "Dreadnought! Dreadnought! Dreadnought! Dreadnought! Dreadnought! "
Got to agree with distortiondave. Boss Snikrot is the first pic (Kommando wiv' two ded killy knives), and Badrukk is the second pic (wic his gun, Da Rippa, and his pirate hat an' all).
Anyone else notice the sword on the right hand side of the pirate ork picture? The one that looks really close to being from Zagstrukk, especially since it looks like a very tall ork or perhaps one floating on a flying base?
guys, im really liking. i can honestly see myself picking up a bunch of these models despite not having any inclination of doing an ork army et. especially that pirate ork!!
but yeh, how positive are people on that pirate ork being for actual release, cause im tempted to call shenanigans on it. i dont know why but i dont think it seems on par with some of the other releases. it just seems to cartoony. also the actual build of the model (as nice as it is) is really 2 dimensional, form the one pic ive seen. so could this be something like that DE haemo? as in not for actual release?
im just curious, but thats the impression i forst got. i love the model anyway
Those stormboyz look very, very metal. I higly doubt they're plastic. The way they're posed and the lack of similar parts all seem to indicate they will be metal. Given that they're are not a "mainstay" unit, that would make sense.
In one word - amazing. It's good to see GW expanding beyond Space Marines into another big army with amazing models and great fluff. I'm glad for the Ork player.
Its part of their whole new development. eventually they hope to have about 60-70% of all the units in the game in plastic form. Or at least the troops/core choices depending on the system.
On another note I have located an italian site with pictures of the new Gretchin as well as other really cool pics so just clic on the arrows if you want to look at them.
Yes it does. I take it back. That's amazing. I've liked plastic more than metal for a long time, but now the quality of plastic is at least at the level of metal, and probably above.
I love them! The battlewagon is yummy. I was getting ready to try and build a giant battlewagon... but now I don't have to! To bad they didn't put one out on display with a deffrolla.
