Greetings all. First let me say how much I have learned reading these forums. This is a truly wonderful community. Anyway, here's my situation. I've been collection wood elves for a bit but I've only played a few games against my buddy's dwarfs. He's not really collecting anything so the biggest match we've played has been 1250. Recently 3 more of my friends decided to start playing warhammer too so we're forming a little league/group to run some campaigns and such. Our first get together is Friday and we're going to decide battles random. As such, I don't know for sure which army I will be fighting. It will either be Ogres, WoC, or Lizardmen. So I need to build 1000 point list that will be good against any of the three. Suggestions would be very helpful.

List:
Spellsinger, Gen, mounted (grouped with GR), Calaingor's Stave
Noble, Alter, LA, SH, GW, HoH, HoDA
10x Glade Guard w/Mus
9x Dryads
8x Dryads
5x Glade Riders w/Mus
5x Wild Riders w/Mus
7x Wardancers

This comes out to exactly 1000 points. Will this fair OK against all of those armies?

Thanks,
BDB

Yes i think u'll do really well you have yourself a good balanced list i always have atleast 2 units of Glade Guard but thats just my personal prefrence. Nice list well done.
The only thing i might change is to drop Calaingor's Stave maybe replace it with a dispell scroll stop that 2d6 str4 that will kill all your Glade Riders and Mage :D

It looks like a fairly solid list. The only thing I would recommend is dropping the horse and scroll from the wizard and getting 2 scrolls. Magic can be a pain for wood elves and you need to hold it off as long as possible. You would have to drop the musician on the GG and GR as well, but I think it would be better for you.

Good luck,
