I wonder why lizardmen are hard to beat. I mean if you have a few guns and maybe a Hell Pit you should be fine with lizardmen. I'm new to skaven, but i've already massacred lizardmen just because they have crappy armor saves. If anyone can clarify why Lizardmen are hard to beat?
i picked high elves, their good magic, good shooting, always strikes first and the option on bringing 2 dragons to the table in a 2250 is a tough army to play for.
Warriors, of course. Skaven can take advantage of low toughness with Plague (Bye bye elves) and a low initiative with Cracks Call (So long lizards, dwarves and dead things). Demons and Ogres fail when confronted with Doomwheels, while Brets and Empire will be constantly outnumbered by equally able opponents. Warriors are strong, tough and fast, and have loads of heavy cavalry (the bane of any Skaven player).
I completely agree, warriors of chaos are overkill. Skaven have a bit of strength 2 no armour saves stuff but it needs 6's to wound and they have few numbers. Skaven need to punch a hole through the opponent and surround them with blocks of cheap models such as clan rats slaves giant rats plague monks and storm vermin. This fails as you will be lucky to get 2 turns shooting before your locked in combat.
They have high awesome stats and are very versatile as they can be armed with addition hand weapons, shields, great weapons or halberds.
Skaven require to outnumber a foe, and get some charges while having cheap war machines. however when we charge chaos they will have a rank and a total of no less than 10 WS 5 STR 4 attacks and could become 20 WS 5 STR 4 attacks(Korne) or even 10 Str 6 attacks.
Warriors usually are an aggressive low model count and armoured army and breeze through most armies.
