Sigvald would be a great model, just make sure that if it's pre-sundering, you file the Slaanesh symbol off of his shield. That won't be too bad anyways, as it will give a truly flat and mirrored surface. If you're good with GS, you can always put the sign of Asuryan on his shield (looks like Pi).
It is a good model, but full-plate isn't really Elven vogue, they tend to like their scale. Although Malekith is a pretty brutal fighter even before the sundering, so I can imagine him eschewing the bulkier mail for a lightweight suit of plate armor, for more freedom of movement. The basket-hilt on his sword is also a bit of an issue, as all the Elven blades tend to just feature a cross-piece. Again, this isn't a big deal.
Just fix up the shield, and he should be perfect. Both of his ears are even covered by hair, and his face is narrow enough to pass for an elf without and problems. He's a pretty common sight in Dark Elf hosts.
Thats a good idea, although I would head swap as well as that grin on Sigvald's face is a little too...sinister?
Or else add some head-dress or feathers - maybe the High Elf Prince head with the little circlet would be a good proxy?
Add in the shield from the Dragon Lord boxed set (the Phoenix shield..) and possibly add a robe or cloth and the cape from teh EMpire general to make the model really stand out...
I like the sinister grin. It is Malekith after all. It lends a little bit of foreshadowing to the model, as even though it's pre-sundering, Malekith is still fated to become one of the most twisted individuals in the whole of the Warhammer world.
