From this distance he looks absolutely splendid. I like the color of the wings and the pose is striking.
But as Flatfeet said, closer shots would be better to give more constructive criticism on it. But from here he looks wicked (Y)
One thing about the base.
What is he standing on? A red cloth covered surfboard? It could be a kindof...red-drape-on-a-knife-edge kindof thing but I'm not sure.
Cloak looks nice. I also really like the coloration you have in the concrete block.
some areas look like they were neglected with highlights - such as the gold chain on the front and the bolter. I am also not familiar with the fluff for this chapter but the wings look a bit large and out of scale.
On another note the basing looks a bit off. I think where the problem lies is its seems to be a hodge podge collection of themes. You have a rubble theme going on as well as a grassy plain. If this were part of a diorama where you had the extra space this probably would work but on just the round base it looks strange to combine both elements (especially when a good portion of the base is grass).
Again you painting is nice and clean and the cloak looks really nice.

4 stars, Love it though, i would've never thought of putting wings on a DA, The only thing the basing on the first one is kinda weird, but its still a good job.
I only wish you would've used a more inspiring model these is kinda like war model.... maybe a librarian.
really great job , ive seen those wings around before , what are they from ?
but something stands out to me though ( all coments in the following are IMHO )
the model is a little . . . how you say . . . . too dull and normal for the wings . the wings are real stand out , flamboyant and glorifying . the model is pretty much just a normal troop with big wings attached , if i were you i would of used a modeling drill to bore out the head of the mini and replace it with a bare head , maybe add a green stuff hearjob to make him look better . instead of having the gun i would off had him with nothing in his hand , maybe pointing and looking in a direction . the sword is a little normal in my eye's , i would of found a much bigger and more arcane looking sword to give him , maybe the " Black Sword " off the emperors champion model , and give it a nice blue glow effect glowing back onto the wings or something , ( if you dont understand the glow im talknig about have a look at this )
well all that is some deep convertion idea's , just some thought's , please dont think negative of them . thanks .
Great model! Those wings are beautiful. Where did you find those wings, though? I think I remember that the lord of change has some wings...
