----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok, this is an RP for use fans of Werewolf: The Apocalypse.
Note, this is not the main RP topic!

RP Rules
Basics Abbreviations
PC - Player Character
NPC - Non Player Character
OOC - Mark any out of Character talk with OOC, and in royal blue if possible. This will show that you are speaking Out of Character, so that people can define what the story is, and what isn't.
I.E OOC: What does so and so mean?
However, though you may use this to find out the what other players are thinking or planing, your character himself/herself STILL WONT KNOW THAT INFORMATION. So dont use it to Powergame.

1) No short one line sentences.
This is so that the story is much more interactive and gives the story more in depth feeling.

2) Mark Dialog with Italics and Speech marks.
This is to allow both players and the Games Master to quickly find and note what is being said. An example is:

“I told you, Wyrmspawn. It is harder to kill a Red Talon than you ever dreamed of. Now hold still, you’ll be back in Malfaes soon. Where you belong.”

3) Bold should be used to donate actions, or a change in scene, location etc.
This, the same as rule 2, allows players to quickly find what actions are being performed. This will become very clear in combat situations, as well as in simple one on one character role play situations. An example of this is:

Combat with Morgan and Adam vs Vampires - Near the Water Fountain, The Manor, Berlin.

Note*** This can be semi ignored if you write in clear and well written paragraphs. Not so much the actions, but I would still like to see any scene or location changes marked and in bold please before you start any new paragraphs.

4) Controlling other PC’s and Major NPC’s
This is forbidden in all circumstances, unless it is to further the story. For example, in certain situations, you could have a character move out of the way. You cannot however, force the character to perform anything drastic, or out of character. Those found to be breaking this rule will be slapped ;).

5) Controlling minor NPC’s
The controlling of low level NPC’s (ie – underlings to the big bad dudes, shopkeepers, etc) is permitted, but the same rules apply.

6) Players must have played Werewolf: The Apocalypse before.
This is a given. It is required players have a basic understanding of W:TA. This is so that the story runs smoother and easier.
There is just way too much W:TA background for me to just tell you.

7) Characters
No ‘invincible’ characters. Everyone hurts, everything dies. Which leads on to a basic rule of good role playing. NO POWER-GAMING. Power-gaming characters will be killed of in a most spectacular fashion, ground to dust and purged from the storyline, for good. No questions asked. No quarter given,
-Please also, when playing note what rage, gnosis and willpower you use up, and at times I shall say when you get it back. (Note, I only really expect the more experinced W:TA players to do this)

In closing:
I, Toastee, The foxeh. Shall be the GM, I shall be the only one to fully control major NPC's. As well as any Character (If any) I play with.

Yes, I shall be trying to GM it as best as possible, So a lot of the time, I will be the one that sets you the missions, what enemies you'll be fighting, what said enemies are doing etc etc. However, you are given a fair amount of freedom.

Any questions, please PM me with "[W:TA] "Your title"" in the title bar.

RULE ADD-ON!

When fighting a GM controlled NPC, if you wish to use gifts, then you must end your post by stating so like this:

Using Gift X ~ On Target Y
(In Bold and Navy Blue)

Its then up to the GM (Me) what effect that gift has on the target.

However, its up to you to decide if the gift actually works at the time, since remember, gifts don't always work due to stress, etc etc.

Thanks.

History

Born October 8th, 1984, in Newcastle England, Alan was raised and schooled there for most of his teenage years.
It was when he was 15 years old that he underwent his first change. He was walking home from a late night out at a heavy metal gig. He was taking a short cut through a small play park when he was set upon by drunk street thugs and vandals. Calling him ‘goth’ for the clothing he wore and his pale complexion, beating him down for his choice in music and being out alone at this time of night.

He stared, vacantly into the ever darker growing night sky as they continued mocking and kicking him whilst he was down. It began raining, and a rumble of thunder could be heard over head. He snapped at this point, changing to his Chrinos form and going berserk. In this rage he destroyed the park and destroyed his assailants in the frenzy. When he came back to, his hands were covered in their blood, their bodies strewn around the park in various dismembered forms… he was scared. Running towards the park exit, a man stepped from the shadows. He was tall, well built and concealed within dark clothes, his eyes gleaming from beneath a wide brimmed hat. He called himself Shadow Fang of the Shadow Lords, and it was under his guidance that Alan learnt of his true nature. He was given several books on Shadow Lords and Garou by Shadow Fang, before he left him to learn about Gaia and the world the hard way.

In 2001 – he received a letter from an unknown source to meet at Newcastle Central Station, bringing a small bag of clothing and whatever else he deemed necessary. Grabbing a small bag of clothes and his dagger, he went to the station. It was here that he met Sharp of Claw, a Get of Fenris of the Northern Oak Cairn. He took Stormclaw and a small group of other Garou to the Northern Oak Cairn. At the Northern Oak, he was trained further as a Garou and allowed to explore further the mysteries of Gaia.

For his Rite of Passage, he and a group of Garou comprised of a Get of Fenris; Sharp Fang, a Glasswalker; Techno-Howler; a Wendigo; Silver Cloud and a Red Talon, at the time un-named but soon to be named Scarred Moon, were told to find a previously missing pack. They found what was left of the pack after they had been dismembered by vampires and the like. They returned to the Cairn and were ascended to level 1 Garou at a Moot. It was here that the Cairn leader asked the pack Alpha to stand and talk of what they had done…. Stormclaw answered, taking lead of the Pack.

It was whilst he was at the Northern Oak he was drawn into a brief encounter with Morgan and Nathan Renard, the Kitsune brothers. He fought with Nathan in a brief battle, managing to annoy the fallen Kitsune, who repaid the annoyance with a deep cut to the chest, leaving a scar still visible to this day. From this encounter, he began training with the blade further and picked up the blade Storm-Caller from the Cairn armoury, dedicating it to himself by inscribing the blade with various Garou icons.

Soon after this fight with Nathan, he took part in the defence of the Northern Oak from the Wyrm under the lead of Nathan Renard. It was during this battle he struck down a fallen Shadow Lord, Claws of Woeden. His body was never found.

Since that day, he has been to Scotland and fought the Wyrm there, as well as continuing his training at the Northern Oak.

As much as I would like to, I dont think there is a "short intro" =^__^=;;
Its not the fact you may have played other Table top RP's, its the fact you dont know the story. Its quite Vast :/ and I have before sat down with Martox, and one other player for hours (And I mean hours) talking over the story and characters and what not.

Also, we are also using other sourcebooks. Mainly the Hengeyokai one :/
So I think theres too much to actually try and explain. But I'll see if I can think up something at work today. Shelve shacking gives you too much time to think XD

Talon Osbourne (Silent Thunder/Whitemane/Ravenchild)

Bio

Name: Talon Osbourne (Known in varying circles as Silent Thunder, Whitemane or Ravenchild)
Age: 46 (Appears mid thirties)
Breed: Homid
Pryio: Daylight
Race: Bastet
Tribe: Khan
Pride: Watchers-in-the-Dark
Jamak: Mistress of Catkind
Concept: Wyrm Hunter

Descriptions:

Talon's Homid Form

Talon is a tall man at six-foot, two inches and whilst tall, is well-built and toned as a direct result of his life's work in hunting down and destroying the Wyrm and its minions on its own ground. While reasonably muscled, it is in proportion. Lithe and toned rather than bulky, he nevertheless provides an imposing figure. His mass is spread out evenly across his body, his arms as large as his legs, drawing focus to his torso when in reality, there is little difference in physical ability there. His hands are rugged and his fingers are long, but strong at the same time. A result of living rough for years at a time, and having to make and repair nearly all his own equipment.

His raven hair is long and frequently plaited to just below his shoulder blades, bound at the bottom in a small knot and fastened with a Celtic band. His forelocks fall to his mid cheek and are dyed white in contrast with his otherwise well-kept hair.

Talon's skin is relatively pale, despite its weather-beaten appearance. His cold blue eyes stare out from behind pronounced cheekbones. His face, whilst pale is by no means gaunt. He is clean-shaven and takes good care of himself. His Celtic heritage shines through in his features and he wears that heritage proudly, his sapphire blue eyes burning brightly as the proverbial windows to his soul. Those with sufficient strength of will to stare into his eyes can read him like a book and his hard gaze hides a soft heart.

Around his neck, Talon wears a blue-jade tiger-head pendant which was to be a gift for his daughter before she was stolen from him. He wears it to honour her and remind him of what he is fighting for. In addition to this, he wears a necklace of teeth strung on a leather chord. The teeth are all from Black Spirals he has slain in single combat, and have recently become a Fetish with a spirit of Fear bound to them, demoralising any Black Spirals that decide Talon to be their target.

He did wear a Celtic knot cross in addition to these that his father crafted for him, but Siyanda now wears it around her neck, Talon having used his knowledge of Mage magick to cast powerful protective warding spells on it before he presented it to her. He sealed the rituals with his blood, and while his spirit survives, the cross will protect her to a certain extent and bring her good fortune.

Across Talon's back is a broad piece of scar-tissue which outlines what looks to be a spread eagle, a reminder of his stay in a Vampire Elder's care. The wound was carved with Moonsilver, making the scarring permanent.

On his right upper arm is a Celtic knot tattoo, a circle containing a triangle with the points looping in their own circles. In the very centre is a tiger in the Celtic style. A unique tattoo to be sure, and a way for Talon to display both parts of his heritage in an individual manner without it being immediately obvious.

With regards clothing, Talon's things are faded and slightly tattered through years of constant repair, and stand in contrast to his well-kept hair and body. While he certainly looks after his possessions, he doesn't have the funds for replacements every time they get damaged, and likewise, he sees throwing away clothes that are 'merely' torn to be a waste. Ever the pragmatist, Talon wears rugged and sturdy, if not very stylish clothes, and thanks to his good craftsmanship, he has maintained them for a good number of years. Suspended from his thick webbing belt is a small leather pouch made of cured leather and containing every contact number he has ever found in addition to several other valuable things. The pouch is generally hidden amongst his military issue webbing pouches. This source of information should it fall into the wrong hands could be devastating, and Talon guards it fiercely. He occasionally wears a heavy pistol, however sense dictates that he never does so when in public. His trousers are patched over the knees and in a couple of places are stitched where they have been cut or gashed in combat or during his various activities.

On his upper half, Talon normally wears a tight-fitting black t-shirt or vest which is also faded, but not patched like his trousers. He wears these whatever the weather unless under the most harsh of extremes, his rugged constitution and breeding as a tiger allowing him his withstand intense cold. Even so, he has a tendency to complain bitterly about hot weather.

On his back, he will often carry his scabbard, but once again, this depends on how public things will be. His scabbard is custom made to sheathe his sword which combines features of a Chinese Jian, European long-sword, Japanese Katana and Celtic patterning. An odd mix, but somehow fitting given the different parts of his heritage. In addition to this, there is another scabbard, normally attached to his sword’s, which houses a pair of 'Wind and Fire' wheel blades at his lower back for easy access and concealment, their own scabbards detachable for separate use when it is not possible for him to carry his sword with him.

His sword, Thunderchild, is a powerful artefact made for him by a Garou Theurge and Galliard working together as thanks for his assistance in saving their pack by eliminating Vampire encroachments on their territory by removing the source of the problem (assassination and removal of key people) and taking down a Black Spiral Elder in single combat after he had slain no fewer than three of the pack's Ahroun. The sword was forged from a titanium and silver alloy and was bound with a fire and thunder spirit, making the weapon awesomely powerful when used correctly. Needless to say, Talon has been saved by the weapon many times over and has remained in very close contact with the Caern responsible.

Finally, Talon carries all his possessions on his back in an enormous military-issue bergen (very large backpack) which is equally patched and faded as his trousers. Attached to the outside of this bag is his composite bow, the only place he can store it. All the equipment he carries is dedicated to him with the exception of his bag which is ditched and hidden prior to combat.

While this sounds like a lot of equipment, he rarely carries it all at once, instead storing at least part of it away with someone he trusts sufficiently to do so.

Talon's Sokto Form

Talon's features become more defined in this form as his facial structure becomes more pronounced. His eyes take on a feline cast and assume the distinctive slit pupils whilst his ears elongate to a point, giving him an almost elf-like appearance. His canines lengthen and protrude very slightly from his mouth while his nose flattens very slightly and his lip pinches in the beginnings of the cleft lip that cats possess.

In this form his muscles bulk out significantly, adding a large amount of body mass while he gains another foot and a half in height. The muscle mass is beginning to show the strength inherent in the Great Tigers that were his ancestors and this is shown in his now massive bulk. Other than this, he remains fairly human in appearance with an exotic edge that is oddly compelling.

As mentioned before, his equipment is dedicated, and in this form, it fits identically to that in his human form despite the fact he's nearly eight foot tall now and built like a rhino.

Talon's Crinos Form

In this form, the Tiger within truly comes through with some drastic changes. His head becomes that of a full tiger and his hands become paw-like, growing stubby with retractable claws. He can still manipulate things although nowhere near as easily as in his previous two forms. His tail grows to a length equal to his body to aid in perfect feline balance, while his body is covered by a fine layer of fur, closer to cats of more temperate climates.

He grows to a massive eleven foot in height, his muscles rippling while his white fur almost glows with energy and grace. He exudes power in this form. Not the brutish ravening that the Garou seem to, but more refined. Confidence and competence. Far more deadly than the brute force of his lupine cousins.

In this form, he retains his plait, his clothing and his jewellery although thanks to his fur, his tattoo disappears, but his back scar remains. His weapons enlarge to suit a creature as large as he is, and retain the same proportions to when they were in Homid. The only major difference in gear is the lack of shoes thanks to Talon's now-digitigrade feet/paws that support his large bulk. Despite this, he retains his socks, each individual toe protruding from a separate hole.

Talon's Chatro Form

In this form, Talon invokes the primal past and assumes a form more terrifying than even the Wolves in Crinos. Tapping into his Tribe's history, Talon becomes a living embodiment of the Impergium as he becomes the Great Sabertooth. In this form, muscle rules over agility as Talon's shoulders hunch massively, while his rear quarters become smaller, his tail shrinking to almost nothing to accommodate his new centre of gravity. All his equipment vanishes, save for his necklaces while his upper canines protrude to a massive nine inches long, giving rise to the name that the humans gave to this form. In this form, his fur also grows and becomes long and shaggy, obscuring his back scarring. In this form, he stands a massive five foot at the shoulder. Even the Black Spirals have learned to fear Talon in this form as it is the one he is cursed to assume when he suffers from a Frenzy. It can only do one thing, and that is kill. Something that Talon is very efficient at even under normal circumstances.

Talon's Feline Form

Finally, Talon in his feline form assumes the beast within. His fur is long and silky, whilst his stripes are sparsely spread like his Siberian kin. His necklaces stay even in this form although they are half-lost within his long fur. An odd thing to onlookers, but then a wild white tiger is a bizarre sight anyway.

Large, even for his kind, Talon stands at over three and a half foot at the shoulder and measures nearly fourteen foot from his muzzle to the tip of his tail (which is around five/six foot long).

Talon is reasonably straightforward… for a Bastet.
He is a creature of honour, and sets a code and lives by it. The rules he lives by are those of tolerance and honour, and whilst he will often maintain this, he is unafraid to fight dirty when the need arises.
Courage, Loyalty and Honour are the three axioms by which he lives, and he sticks to them rigidly… or at least his interpretation of them.

In fighting the Wyrm, he has learned that evil must often be used to defeat that of a greater magnitude. Despite this, those that count him among their allies are never given reason to doubt him, or his word. Once that is given, it is never broken unless someone else breaks theirs first…

Talon has reached Rank 5 (Bon Bhat – Great Parent) a total of three times, but has lost renown thanks to his close co-operation with several Garou septs and the Hengayokai of the East and is currently at Rank 4 (Ilani, or ‘Wonder Favoured’). This is looked down on, not in itself, but in the fact that Talon often shares his knowledge of the Wyrm freely, giving his secrets away… a taboo among Bastet. Nevertheless, he feels that in order to defeat the Wyrm, his knowledge must be spread as far as possible before his inevitably violent demise.

Talon tends to be very blunt, and always speaks his mind, no matter what that is. While it gets him into trouble, it often earns him respect as well. With the Garou septs he has worked with, he often stays with the kinfolk instead of the wolves, and aids in general duties around the Caern that Garou often see as being beneath them. Such menial tasks like cleaning and general maintenance which Talon gains a great deal of satisfaction from. He revels in helping others, and hunts that which causes suffering. On his own terms of course…

History

Talon’s career has been spectacular and violent, as can be expected of one of the Khan. His first change was a sign of things to come as he fought off and killed a pair of Black Spirals as they sought to take him from his parents. Unfortunately, they had both been killed trying to resist, and the Spirals had lain in wait for the young schoolboy to return. They thought he was Garou, but they could not have been more mistaken.

From that moment on, he vowed to seek out and destroy the kind that had ripped everything he loved from him. No sooner had that oath left his lips than a powerful man stepped into his home. That man would become Talon’s Kuasha for the next year and teach him the arts of war.

Talon’s Rite of Passage was no less brutal than his First Change. Thanks to his single-minded determination and surprising adaptability, the young Khan managed to prevent vampiric incursion on the local Garou caern… at this time however, Talon hadn’t learned the skills necessary to interact with the wolves, and so his actions remained anonymous to the world, save for his Kuasha who was highly impressed.

After his Rite of Passage, Talon earned the name ‘Silent Thunder’ thanks to his methods. As is the way of the Bastet however, his Kuasha faded into the background, leaving a confident and wilful Talon to the world.

Time passed, and he honed his skills beyond that of most warriors, assuming the Khan habit of throwing their all into whatever endeavour they choose, constantly pushing to the limits of ability in an effort to improve and to prove themselves.

Time passed and Talon made a name for himself, rising rapidly to Rank 3 (Tilau - Accomplished Friend) before settling down with his wife, and risking all to enter the greatest adventure of all – parenthood. He was 28 when his wife gave birth to a single child, called Nyssa. Six years passed before Talon’s zeal in hunting the Wyrm came down on his family. A nomadic pack of Black Spirals known as the Dragon’s Claw descended on Talon’s sanctuary that he had created for his family and stole his daughter, leaving a message for him in the blood of his wife who he found crucified to the ceiling of their bedroom.

Overcome with Rage and grief, he tore the house down in a frenzy of destruction before he set out to hunt down his daughter and bring her back. He has never lost hope that he will find her, even to this day.

It is after this tragic turnaround that Talon found his adventures only just beginning as he developed a network of contacts and allies across the world, and throughout many of the supernatural races that grace Gaia’s surface. From the Hengayokai of the East to the Wendigo in the West, Talon has sought his daughter to the ends of the Earth, and has earned a fearsome reputation amongst the servants of the Unmaker. What’s more surprising is that he is respected as someone who’s advice is worthy of consideration by a number of Caerns, his travels bringing him into close contact with many servants of the Wyrm.

His travels have now carried him back to Japan with the Kitsune, Morgan Renard who has earned Talon’s eternal friendship thanks to the young shifter’s aid in introducing him to the Hengayokai. The two remain close friends, although Talon fears remaining close for long, in case his past follows him. And Morgan has enough enemies of his own…

Morgan Renard (Black-Paws)

Name: Morgan Renard (Black-Paws)
Age: 32
Breed: Roko(Born Fox)
Auspice: Eji (Warrior)
Race: Kitsune
Tribe: n/a
Desc:
-Hitogata (Homid)
He stands at just over six foot tall, and is of a medium build, with more strength than most Kitsune due to his path, Eji (ay-jee).
His body is not covered with scars, but he does have his share. One on his left shoulder, caused by his brother’s sword during their first battle in Chicago, and a second on the upper, right arm, which came from being shot.

He has jet black hair, in a short to medium length side parting, which is normally worn in a messy style, except when attending court meetings.
Dark brown eyes, which can sometimes give a feeling of warmth about him, which he never seems to show in public.

Morgan wears no items of jewelry, and most likely never will unless It benefits him in someway or another.

Clothing wise, Morgan tends to wear black jeans, with either navy blue or black t-shirts, with normally a black, unbuttoned shirt on over that.
His boots are solid, sturdy dark brown walking boots.
He also has a black long coat which he wears whenever he has his weapons with him in public.
The only time this will be really different is if he is in Japan.

-Sambuhenge: (Glabro)
Morgan has never, recently, been seen in this form. It is almost comical in appearance, and most foxes tend to only take it rarely.
Young kits tend to use it when learning to walk like a human if they were born Roko, or if they are trying to play tricks on other learning kits.
This form also sports a tail, unless it is “hidden”

-Koto: (Chrinos)
In this form, Morgan only stand two inches taller in Hitogata, and no real bulk is added to his overall form.
The head becomes fully vulpine, and the body is covered with orange and white fur, though his feet, ankles, wrist and hands are black. The tips of his ears are also black.
This form also sports an obvious four tails, however Morgan only ever “wears” all four in privacy of his room(s); courtly affairs or if the barriers of his emotions are broken.
Again, this is a form Morgan rarely uses, as Kitsune tend to be private. However, Morgan sometimes does not act the way most Kitsune would, and in times of combat, will gladly use this form, unless he needs to keep it from general knowledge, he is a fox after all.

*note* Fur does not cover the two scarred areas of his body. Which is why at courtly meetings, Morgan will ALWAYS wear something to cover himself. A lot of foxes can sometimes pride themselves on their looks and appearance, and at meetings, Morgan is no different.

-Juko: (Big Fox)
This form is basically a wolf-sized fox. This form again sports 4 tails, but three are mostly always “hidden”
Again the fur is orange and white, which black gloved paws up to half the leg.
Morgan has been known to use a dagger in this form.

-Kyubi: (Vulpes)
The same as above but looks and is indistinguishable from a normal red fox. So no extra tails are required to be “hidden”

Basic Character History
Was born with his brother and lived at a Garou caern in Northumberland and their Kitsune mother giving birth to them (Lunas price for them both.) And since being born as fox cubs, their human, kinfolk father couldn't look after them until their first changes.
After their first changes, they grew up at the Northern Oak (The caern in Northumberland) And in Japan, and what would become there Beast Court later on.

In 1998, Morgan was tasked with tracking down his brother who had gone missing in the US. While there alot happened. He meet Talon Osbourne for the first time, helped save a Garou caern, helped kill a Shadow Lord, and, meet his brother again.

The rumours that Nathan Renard, once known as "Tricksters-Paws" had indeed turned.
The resulting battle gave Morgan his first scar, as well as destorying the top of a skyscraper in Chicago.

Since then he has fought Nathan only once, but has run in to him on a fair few occasions.

2002 Saw the birth of his son, a Kitsune, who was names Adam, and also later named Walks-through-Mist. However luna took her price for giving a new born Kitsune in the form of taking Sakura, a fellow Kitsune, as well as Morgans mate.

Adam Renard (Walks-through-Mist)

Name: Adam Renard - Walks-through-Mist
Age: 16/17
Breed: Roko (Born Fox)
Auspice: Gukutsushi
Race: Kitsune
Tribe: n/a
Desc:
-Hitogata (Human)
Adams human form is pretty much like his fathers, bar the fact it has more teenage features than adult ones.

He has black hair that could have come from either his mother or his father, how he has kept the dark brown eyes, and British looks of Morgan.

Though his looks may be of his Fathers side, his mental ones are from his mothers. He seems to be kinder and more caring than his father, and has a much bigger interest in how things work as well as there uses.

Like his father he will wear a kimono if in Japan, which at the minute has been for all his life. Though he has been given jeans and t-shirts to wear before he prefers eastern attire.

He has his own katana, which his father had made for him while he was still a fox cub. It has a green and white coloured hilt, and has only recently had the symbol of Kiri (fog) engraved into the base of the blade.

-Sambuhenge: (Glabro)
Adam has only used his form to learn to walk after his first change, and since he really hasn’t had many friends to play tricks on, he has never needed to use this form for anything else.
This form also sports a tail, unless it is “hidden

-Koto: (Chrinos)
In this form, Adam only stand one to two inches taller than in Hitogata, and no real bulk is added to his overall form.
The head becomes fully vulpine, and the body is covered with orange and white fur, though his feet, ankles, wrist and hands are black. The tips of his ears are just orange like that of his late mother, Sakura.
This form also sports an obvious tails. Adam, unlike his father like being in this form a lot.

-Juko: (Big Fox)
This form is basically a wolf-sized fox. This form again sports the one tail.
Again the fur is orange and white, which black gloved paws up to half the leg.
Adam has been taught by his father to use a dagger in this form.

-Kyubi: (Vulpes)
The same as above but looks and is indistinguishable from a normal red fox.

Basic Character History
Adam was born in March 2002 as a Roko cub, but his mother died shortly after giving birth to him. For the two years before his first change he was looked after by his father and taught the basics of being a normal fox. Though not long before his first change he was taught about who and what he was, and who and what he would be, as well as other things.

His first change wasn't drastic or anything horrid. To him it was a way of moving forward. I thing of beauty. After that he was taught in the ways of using a sword and a firearm. The basic skills on surviving.
Once he had picked his path, he was sent away to an old Mentor that his father once knew in Fiji. An old Kitsune mentor known as Wu. Who looked as young as his own father, but was infact 493 years of age.
Adam continued to learn, but learnt what his father could not teach. The ways of his own path.

Name: Grausame Wunde, aka Neil Carrell
Age: 25
Breed: Homid
Auspice: Ragabash
Race: Garou
Tribe: Get of Fenris

Desc:

Homid:- A pale-skinned man in his mid-twenties, approximately six and a half feet in height, well-muscled but of a lean build. His dark brown hair and beard are cut to approximately one inch in length, but raggedly, suggesting that he has often cut it himself. His limited wardrobe is comprised of whatever has come to hand during his journeys, and as a result is eclectic and somewhat worn. Most of the time, he wears an elderly brown trench-coat over a tattered hawaian shirt, dark brown slacks and scuffed army boots. Hidden beneath the shirt, he wears ring-mail armour. His face is crowded with scars, mostly small, but some larger, with the most noticeable being one that stretches across the bridge of his nose and over his left cheek-bone. In most respects, he could easily be mistaken for a derelict, if not for his expression. He frowns almost constantly, his mouth set into a hard line, and he walks like somebody with pressing business to attend to.

Crinos:- Of a slimmer build than most, with a level gaze and inexpressive body language. Every movement is measured and intentional, from the flicking of his ears to the sweep of his tail, a fact that makes him appear cagey and suspicious to most Garou, and marks him as Tödliches apprentice to anyone familiar with the old klaive masters style. In this form, some of the scars covering his body resolve into crudely formed runes, similar to those found on the klaive that he carries, and recognisable as rather old fasioned Get-of-Fenris badges of accomplishment. As in homid, his attitude is that of a man on a mission.

Lupus:- A brown furred wolf, unremarkable in appearance save for the prominent scarring across his muzzle, and with a tendency to just sit and watch events patiently that is unsettling to humans that might be expecting just a dumb animal.

Main Attributes and Abilities: Agile, Perceptive.
Talents, Skills and Knowledges: Skilled duelist and hunter. Arctic survival. Can read the runes, and can also read, write and speak German.

Backgrounds:
Blade of The Norns:- An ancient double-edged klaive. At a glance, the blade of the klaive appears roughly a foot and a half long and four inches across. Crudely formed runes cover both sides of the age-tarnished blade, which contrasts strongly with the plain and obviously new hilt, guard and pommel. The klaive is of exceptional quality, and can be summoned back to the hand of it's attuned wielder via the Umbra.

Mentor:- Tödliche Wunde, a particularly ruthless German Get-of-Fenris who disappeared in the years prior to World War 2. Famed for his skill with the klaive, both on the battlefield and in formal duels. Currently extremely ill due to old age, and contemplating the Rite of The Winter Wolf.

Gifts: Master of Fire, Scent of Running Water, Open Seal and Visage of Fenris.
Any Rites: Rite of Dedication

Basic Character History:
Neil was born and raised in the south of Yorkshire until the age of twelve, when he was collected by Get-of-Fenris kinfolk, who escorted him to a tiny, isolated caern in northern Norway. It was there that he underwent his first change, goaded into it by Tödliche Wunde, the garou who would come to be his mentor and who would ultimately rename him Grausame Wunde. For thirteen years, Grausame lived at the caern, training with his mentor and leaving only to perform the tasks set for him by the third garou at the caern, an elderly female Theurge known to him by her official title, the Angel of Death. Then, during one of the regular hunts he and his mentor performed to ensure the secrecy of the caern, Tödliche collapsed in the midst of battle, gravely ill due to old age. Upon their return to the caern, the Angel of Death explained to Grausame that his coming and the nature of his first change had been prophecied to her in her youth by spirits, who had also delivered the blade of a klaive into her hands, carved into which was a second prophecy, written in an ancient language unknown to her. Giving him the klaive, she charged him to search until he had discovered the meaning of the prophecy, and not to return until he had. She also forbade Tödliche from performing the Rite of the Winter Wolf until Grausame returned, since the old wolfs skill in battle could not be spared. Swearing he would return one day and give his mentor a warriors death, Grausame took the klaive and set off in search of the knowledge to translate the prophecy, and has been wandering ever since.

Though he may have the info on the new Werewolf game instead. If you can't find out there, do a google search for Werewolf: The Apocalypse :)

You can't buy the books in store now, as they have all gone out of print, but Ebay should have some.
I did a google search, none of the sites seem to detail the rules or stuff like that, although if I do manage to find them out and join in I think I like the sounds of the Silent Striders. There background seems nice, but I'm still pretty puzzled about the rest for the moment!

EDIT: wait, I've just found the rules, wayhay! I should know the basic structure soon enough.

Just as long your character sticks to the RP rules...otherwise, I'd just have to pick on him/her. XD

It isn't actually the full rules (stupid website) *crys* I really wanna play cos is sounds so cool....

Basically I only need to know how to make my character, and how things are organised through the RP don't I?

I'm gonna be a Silent Strider....BTW Toatee, what do you think of The Silent Striders? Are they any good?

No, sorry dude, its a requirement that you need to know the basic story. Things like what the umbra is, what a caern is. Who are Garou. etc etc

Also the gifts that you see under some of the characters, we all know what they do you see, hense why you need access to the story and core book. So if you can get your Paws on one that would be good.

The Silent Striders are cool, aye. Quick and speedy...though Im a fan of Glasswalkers myself.

Though im personnaly fond of a certain Get Of Fenris.

Can she come out to play Morgan?

Quote " Serin entered the gym, and before her beheld Morgan, and Storm Claw, Storm was prancing around trying to look dangerous, yet Morgan was in the middle of the Gym with his eyes closed, apparently meditating and unaware of the actions of others around him, yet she knew better. She walked over to Morgan knelt in front of him and bowed, there was a almost imperceptiable nod of his head in return, of her compliment, then she attacked....."

after all it wouldn't be the first time, now would it?

CHARACTER l Mark Donaldson, (aka SCOPE :p )
BREED l Homid
AUSPICE l Ahroun
CAMP l Urban Primitive
CONCEPT l Predator

DESCRIPTION
Homid age-27 height-6'1 hair-dark wavey, mothers race-white Build-large well defined
eyes-Brown, weight-15 stone, marks/scars-Scar running from below L eye to nose

clothing-black longcoat (in the style that hunters wear), black combat trousers, boots
white T-shirt.

HISTORY
Born to a wealthy glasswalker sept, in Seattle, Washington State, North America, he however lived a life of relative poverty for the first part of his life whilst his father, tried to set up and run a gun club for humans to go to learn to shoot, at first there was a lot of resistance from the local Glass Walker Sept as his father, Marcus was in fact Ronin, this caused an unbelievable ammount of friction between the local Garou and his father, that was until the local sept was attacked by a veritable army of black spirals, metis, & leeches.
his father still the sworn enemy of the wyrm rushed to their aid, and for this the local sept called a truce with him (though in truth the elders were more glad of this because Marcus had a habbit of killing everyone that came against him!!!! After all he was an ex Royal Marine).
Life became easier for the young Mark as his fathers buissness took off, his father hired more people, and so could spend more time teaching his son the ways of the woods, and of Gaia Mark even perfected the trick of the QUICK DRAW (new ability). Not to mention both of their favorite pastimes Shooting, it was during one of these "trips" that he had his first kill and none of the elders or his father can to this day explain it whether it was the excitement of the hunt or the smell of the blood, whaterver it was it was powerfull enough to bring upon his first change. Yet this force was also powerfull enough to interfere with the change, Mark kept changing from one form to another without any apparent concentration or for that matter control (meta-morph). Once he had calmed down his father took him further away from seattle to teach him the ways of wilderness survival Garou Style!!!.
They then returned to seattle and Marcus decided that he had taught him all that he could, so he presented his son to the elders of the Glass Walker Cairn in Seattle and asked them to teach his son that which he a Ronin couldn't (this was the first time Mark had heard this word, though he knew the what the Japanese word meant).
He was inducted into a new pack and they were sent on their Rite of Passage.
Upon completion of which his father arrived at the cairn with some presents for him, a pump action shotgun, a Glock 14 Pistol with a silencer, and a hand crafted Sniper rifle with an inscription on the barrel saying "To my dearest son, may this weapon always bring you luck, and death to Gaia's enemies, Father" there was also a credit card made out in his name, upon which one of his new pack mates "Virus" commented "what more gifts from daddy? Pathetic" and he walked away, upon dispatch to their next mission Mark (who had chosen the name "SCOPE" as his Garou name) noticed that Virus kept shooting him looks when he thought no-one watching, and especially eyeing up his fathers rifle. Mark also started to notice Virus was exhibiting some other sings of strange behaviour, he'd dissapear "on a recce" at odd times, and there were times that he thought that he could smell blood upon him, he wanted to say something but thought against it as he had now learnt that a Ronin was a septless Garou castout of their society and forever shunned and that a pack could vote upon the ejection of a pack member at any time, for many reasons, least of all accusing one of his pack-mates of breaking the litany and Sept law.
It was during one of Viruses "recces" that the pack was ambushed, Mark wasn't with them at the time he had been told to gain higher ground by Gun Boy their pack leader, he never knew but he suspects that Gun Boy was growing suspicious as well of Virus's motives for his "recces" so he decided to tell him about his suspicions later, he never got the chance as below him he watched as his pack was attacked by 20 Black Spirals (flaw hatred) and whilst they fought bravely they were quickly over powered, just as the last of the pack was being taken down there was another beastial roar, and through his scope he saw that it was Virus but rather than charging into the Spirals he calmly walked by them walked up to Gun Boy and turned to crios then nonchelantly ripped open his chest and tore out his heart then turned to one of the Spirals (the leader he guessed) and presented the heart to him. The leader then took a bite out of it then gave it back to Virus who ate the rest of it, SCOPE couldn't believe it Virus had become a black spiral (flaw VENGANCE). Virus then looks around for him amongst the dead and finds him missing he flys into a rage and swears that one day he will have Scope's heart as he knows that scpoe is probably within hearing distance(flaw ENEMY). Scope has a perfect shot yet if he takes it he will be caught before he can escape, to warn the Cairn, he decides to put caution to the wind and shoots Virus but at that very instant that the trigger was pulled a metro-rail went by his hiding place shaking it and ruining his shot, he hit Virus but he only winged him (the round hit him in the right arm below the shoulder and the 7.62mm hollowpoint tore through the flesh and bone of Viruses arm like it wasn't even there, ripping it clean off, (SCOPE SAVOURS THAT MEMORY EVEN TO THIS DAY AS ONE OF HIS FINEST).
He returned to the cairn the lone survivor of a pack, and told his story before all of the cairn, the elders accepted his version but the whispers persisted, him the Ronin's son the only one to survive why? did he run? did he leave his comrades to their deaths with his cowardice? Eventually (& not a long time either) he tired of these rumours and sought out the elders and told them that he was going to hunt down, Virus and bring his head back as proof to silence all the wagging tounges, along the way he has ended the lives of many of the accursed WYRM's minions and become known in meany places as the silent death yet for all his sniping skills he has yet to get Virus in his sights again, and it is this quest that has led him to Europe, specifically the Cairn here in Germany (well that & the long distance shooting compitition that was taking place there as well ( well even Garou need a pasttime!!)) he traveled to the cairn and met it's elders was given some information, that seemed fruitfull. So he decided to check it out, now due to him having to fly again and not having a reason to carry a sniper rifle shotgun and a pistol (which will get through airport security anyway) he decided to leave his rifle and shotgun behind in the cairns armoury, as you all know the cairn fell and he wants his guns back!!

Rule Add-on

When fighting a GM controlled NPC, if you wish to use gifts, then you must end your post by stating so like this:

Using Gift X ~ On Target Y

Its then up to the GM (Me) what effect that gift has on the target.

However, its up to you to decide if the gift actually works at the time, since remember, gifts don't always work due to stress, etc etc.

Niu

Name:Niu Questing-Ghost
Age: 21
Breed: Metis
Auspice: Galliard (though more of a lore seeker and keeper then a story teller)
Race: Garou
Tribe: Silent Striders

Desc: Niu is Metis- His deformity is albinism. He is also abnormally huge, which can be an advantage in strength situations but is a major disadvantage in most other scenarios.

Homid
In homid form Niu stands at 7’6’’- a good two feet over your average man-on-the-street. While this gives him a supreme advantage when it comes to spotting people over crowds, he has issues with doorways, low ceilings, obtaining clothes that fit and generally avoiding notice. His skin is so pale that it can only really be described as white, as is his chin-length hair- both of which appear almost translucent in certain lights. In keeping with his condition, his eyes are such a pale blue as to appear almost colourless. As such, it is difficult to discern traces of his Egyptian heritage- especially when he was born and raised in England. However, in the slant of his eyes and the lines of his body, there are definitely hints of something slightly more exotic. His muscles are toned due to extensive weapons training, and make up a significant amount of his 336lbs.
Due to his lack of pigmentation Niu is highly sensitive to sunlight- his skin burns ridiculously easily, and he flinches from any bright lights. He did not help this situation by becoming almost nocturnal for a large part of his early life in order to avoid the pain that daylight brought, but more recently he has accepted that he has to live at least a part of his life during the sunlit hours. In homid form he covers as much of his flesh as possible, even (and especially) in the peak of summer. He wears a wide brimmed hat that shades his face, and below this covers his eyes with a pair of sunglasses. He also sports a black trench coat with the collar turned up to protect his neck, with a plain black t-shirt underneath- he does still feel the heat of his extra clothing after all. After a few modifications, the trench coat falls to three quarters of the way down his thigh, and he also wears loose fitting black jeans that reach down to overlap his high-topped boots. He wears thin black gloves to cover his hands, the cuffs of which come up a little way under his sleeves. He carries very little equipment, only small amounts of money and a simple sewing kit to make repairs to his clothing when necessary- it is easier than trying to obtain more in his size! Finally, he has his staff, which he carries either in his hand or slung over his back.

Glabro
When he shifts to Glabro form, Niu hits 8 foot and weighs in at 681lbs. At this point clothing becomes even more of a problem. In addition, his eyes shift from their bluish colour in his human form to the pale pink common in the albino versions of most other species. However, these usually remain screened by sun glasses.

Crinos
Being metis, crinos was Niu’s birth form. In this form he is a formidable 12’1, weighing nearly 800lbs. His Egyptian heritage is more obvious in this form; with fine fur and a relatively narrow, elongated head- these more like a North African Simien Wolf. His fur is still transparent white and his eyes are pink, as in his Glabro form. His appearance gives the lie to his amicable nature, but nonetheless he makes a fearsome enemy.
By this point sunglasses become impractical, so during daylight hours he appears quite short sighted as he squints constantly in an effort to protect his eyes from the bright sunlight.

Hispo
Niu’s Hispo form weighs 768lbs and is still taller at the shoulder than the majority of humans. However, his lines are surprisingly refined in a bizarre amalgamation between dire wolf and the far neater Simien wolf of his ancestral homeland.

Lupus
In Lupus Niu can still just about look an average sized human in the eye. He has little to no chance of being mistaken for a dog, and those who know much about normal wolves would question whether he generally was one- especially considering the rarity of Simien wolves even in their native territory. His large size, white fur and pink eyes give an overpowering impression that he is some kind of vengeful spirit returned from the dead.

Backgrounds: Fetish 3, Rites 3
Gifts: Create Element, Beast Speech, Speed of thought, Primal Anger
Any Rites: Descent Into The Dark Umbra, Rite of Talisman Dedication

Basic Character History: Niu is a metis wolf- his deformity being albinism. This, combined with his large size, means that he is by no means an inconspicuous creature in any of his forms. Seeing as he was raised with werewolves, Niu was taught early about human etiquette and can at least behave in an unremarkable way. He has learnt basic driving skills, and how to fight using a staff. He is also surprisingly agile, but understandably it isn’t easy for a target as large as he to avoid hits completely.
His father was a Silent Strider, who he has been informed came from an African kinfolk village whose blood was fairly pure. His father spent the months between his conception and his birth touring England, but when his shameful son was born he entrusted the boy to a sept and disappeared. His mother was a London-born Glass Walker who fell for the mystery of his nomadic father, yet after the birth of her son wanted nothing more to do with either of them.
Niu grew in the sept, subject to all the typical stigma that metis Garou typically received, yet he generally remained gentle with his aggressors. He sought out knowledge from an early age, listening to the Theurge’s and Galliard’s attentively and shadowing visitors to the sept in the hopes of learning more of the external world. He was also infected with the hereditary wanderlust of the striders, yet due to his conspicuousness he was rarely allowed away from the caern- this, almost more then the prejudiced attitudes of most Garou towards his breed, was a source of the anger and bitterness that lodged in his heart.
Niu eventually left his sept at 20, having decided that he had to seek an answer to his recurring nightmares. The elders were not altogether sad to see him go, though some of the galliard’s secretly missed their eager student. Coincidentally, there had been a Harbringer strider in the caern that very night, and the large metis left with him. The harbringer tolerated his young protégé’s company for a couple of months as he taught him of strider history and lore, before disappearing into the Umbra one night after he had made it clear that he had done teaching Niu and that he was not to be followed. Niu spent the better part of a year wandering around the United Kingdom, visiting septs and towns in order to find what knowledge he could in his birth country before travelling further afield.

Niu's nightmare

This, for those who want it, is the full version of Niu's recurring nightmare.

The night was clear, and in the heavens above an infinity of small specks of light shone out, eclipsed only in the bright aura that surrounded the waxing moon. This light reflected off the sleeping earth, painting it in an eerie silver hue. Niu crouched at the side of the still lake, his warm breath rising from his muzzle in small clouds. No ripples disturbed this surface, and the metis wolf had an unobstructed view of his reflection gazing back at him. His pink eyes were particularly sensitive to the light, and as such he had no problems picking out the detail of this wraith-like figure floating in the water before him. Slowly, he lowered one huge paw towards the surface of the lake, and witnessed his reflection mimic the movement. Somehow this natural occurrence disturbed him, and without breaking eye contact with the white creature painted in the water he pulled his paw back towards his body.
The paw of his reflection did not pull back into the icy depths, as all reason said it should. To his growing terror, Niu saw as a malicious grin spread across the semi-lupine face before him- a grin that was not replicated on his own visage. The paw shot from the water faster than he would have believed possible, breaching the barrier into the air and fastening itself in the fur on Niu’s neck. The Crinos Garou gasped, pulling back reflexively, but the grip on his throat tightened and held him. Then, slowly and deliberately, the arm started retracting itself into the water. The face he could see there was laughing manically, the ripples caused by the arm that crossed the surface warping and distorting the image, his image, so as he could hardly recognise it. Niu began pulling back, thrashing his head and body and clawing manically at the furred limb that held him. It seemed to make no difference to this unearthly creature as clumps of fur and shreds of skin were torn off of it, and no blood came from the wounds that he had inflicted. As his head was drawn inexorably closer to the water Niu tried to howl out, to call for some Garou from his pack to help him; only to realise that the vice-like grip on his throat was choking him, making it near impossible to breath. In desperation he redoubled his efforts to extricate himself, only succeeding in making his gasps for air more crippling. The face in the water laughed and twisted and shrank away from the surface, maintaining the distance between itself and Niu’s own as the werewolf’s head plunged into the icy lake. His eyes widened in terror as the grip on his throat refused to slacken, instead dragging his head in further under the water, following the face that was horrendously clear now that they occupied the same world. He braced his paws against the mud on the bank of the lake as he pulled back with all his might, acutely aware that he had not been able to draw a full lungful of clean air before being submerged. It could hardly add to his panic more when he felt the bank begin to crumble beneath his paws, plunging the whole of his upper body into the lake. He felt the freezing waters close fully over his head, felt his arms begin to go numb as the cold bit into them. The awareness of his legs and tail sliding in after his torso seemed strangely distant, with all his attention focused on the task of freeing his head so that he could at least get one more gasp at the winter’s air. The reflection retreating in front of him continued laughing mockingly, the sound reverberating around the inside of his head rather than entering through his ears, as the paw continued pulling him mercilessly downwards.
He could feel his struggles beginning to weaken as his limbs grew lethargic and leaden. He was aware of the air burning within his lungs, seeming more like a kind of slow poison now than the life-giving substance he had always assumed it to be. He yearned for a breath even as he fought to keep the stale air inside his chest, yet his body had other ideas and eventually he could not prevent the air exploding from his mouth in a series of silver bubbles. The other face was having no such troubles as it continued laughing, always laughing, while the paw and the water and his body slowly seemed to fade from existence and finally the face approached until they were almost touching, until it was laughing right in his face, and then that was consumed by the darkness too…
Niu woke, gasping for air and to his surprise, finding it. He lay on his back for a few moments as the world seemed to swim around him, the dislocation making him dizzy. Slowly the world pulled itself back into focus and he realised that during the night he had shifted out of his lupus form and was once again in his birth form. He found himself hard pushed to care. His fur was slicked to his body by sweat, the white appearing to have been leached out of it by the damp. He could feel goose pimples rising on his flesh as he shivered convulsively, though he was unsure whether it was in truth from the cold. This was not the first time he had had this dream by a long way, but this time it had seemed somehow more real; he was still having problems convincing himself that it hadn’t really happened. In a fit of nervous movement he pulled himself upwards, momentarily forgetting that in his Crinos form he was taller than the cave. He smashed his head against the ceiling and quickly dropped down to a crouch, pink eyes darting around the shadows. He flinched as the silhouette of an owl dropped past outside; the rustle of a leaf against the rock wall caused him to start in fear. It was clear that he would get no more sleep this night. And now his decision was made: In the morning he would leave to find his answers.

NOTE:

The RP isn't dead.

This week has just been really busy that I've either not had the time to continue, or I've painted so much blue, I've not had the will to continue.

This doesn't mean that its over, it just means I'm busy, and that once I have the time I'll make a continuation post.

HOWEVER: Any character if they wish may make a post to continue on a bit as we walk along, noting any thoughts or feelings....as long as its a good post, its not considered spam.

His whole body is covered in black fur rippling with huge muscle waiting to release their power upon an unlucky opponent. His muzzle is long and his ears tall and pointed; his eyes still the emerald green only larger.

Hispo:
5’5"
The form of the dire wolf. His body is huge and sleek. Built for the hunt. The frame is lean and streamlined for speed, but still with the muscular power.

Lupus:

Similar to Hispo only the muscle is completely for running the form long and thin.

Made of oak, and wound with burial bandages of Shu Heru. (See Strider source book.) The top of the staff is adorned with a gold eagle’s claw clutching a globe of obsidian slightly larger than a child’s fist. The tip of the staff ends in a 9" wooden stake with silver ribs running vertically down the stake, until the last 3". The staff does strength +1 swing and strength +3 when thrusting.
It gives the user +2 dex. It causes lethal damage when thrusting and agg to vampires, when it strikes them. Also on a successful gnosis role the globe emits a burst of bright sunlight that dazzles people looking at it, and causes agg damage to vampires.
For damaging vamps, one point of agg per permanent gnosis wielder has, and dazzles for half gnosis in turns (rounding down), on a failed wits/alertness roll.

Merits: Long-Distance Runner (see Strider book)

Rage: 3
Gnosis: 6
