CUlt of Slaneesh is nasty because it combines the best of the DE, shooting, with the best of Chaos, warriors and knights, not to mention demons. Perfectly nasty, I think.

The Chaos and Demon are no problem. Your fear might not be as effective, but flank them or charge them in the rear and tie them up in the front with a big ranked unit, and sooner or later you will combat.

But the shooting can be a real pain. I'd have fell bats or dire wolves to harass those units. DO the usual screening with spirit hosts and ghouls to protect big units from bolt throwers.

Your magic will be weaker than CoS, so I'd have one or two dispel scrolls, maybe the power familiar to make up for Blood Dragon weakness.

Beast of Chaos, I can't help you with. Hardly ever played them. But if it's Tzeentch, be prepared for a strong magic phase.

Good luck!

Beasts have poor leadership, make sure you don't forget any of those fear tests when they are charging you. Focus on killing their general and BSB, or at least forcing them to split up. They are very manouvrable so use your magic and speed bumps etc. to keep them in check, also remember they get one less rank than you so you are automatically up by one in combat resolution before things start. This is a good help if you have vampires around, because they will bounce right off your unit garuanteed.

You probably don't have to worry about them ambushing for the leadership reason, they won't be able to pass a fear test on their own from way at the back when charging.

Against the Beastmen:

Beast Herds have an apalling Leadership of 6, though they usually have a 7 due to their Champion - called a Foe-Render. These Foe-Renders are targets to be cut down at the earliest of opportunities so that Beast Herds get stuck with that Ld6 against an army that causes Fear in it's entirety...

for my general i have taken a vampire count with barded nightmare, crown of the damned, heart piercing, red fury, honour or death and the addition hand weapon
is there anything wrong with that against COS and BOC im not sure if i should swap something for master strike :)

Personally, I rarely put my general on a mount. First, mounted units tend to be placed on the flank, or end up on the flank, so that they can do their thing, which is, well, to flank. That means his 12" march range is largely negligible, leaving the bulk of the army to trudge along slowly.

Second, knights tend to get out of position if they're doing their job. Let's say they flank and overrun; now they must reform the next turn, or make a large wheel, to get back in the game. I want my general to have as little wasted time as possible, and to use his march range to its greatest effect.

Third, a block of skeletons provides much better protection than knights. Knights will be targets for CoS bolt throwers and for magic of either foe. Knights tend to attract a lot of missile fire. I don't want my general to find himself in dwindling forces with nowhere to go. And if you lose a combat where the knights have flanked, combat resolution wounds go much harder against black knights than they do against skeletons.

Last, a thrall can do just as well leading the knights. Along with a hell knight, the thrall will give your opponents something to contend with when those knights get into combat.

I like your blood dragon's kit except for honor or death. It might work well against the BoC, but not against CoS. I'd drop the additional hand weapon and get the enchanted shield, especially if I'm putting him on foot where he won't gain the cavalry armor bonus.
