Can anyone tell me what a daemonworld is? Like is it a planet infested by a daemon:wacko:

A daemon world is a planet within a warp storm, or possibly within the eye of terror itself, where the laws of physics have begun to erode. Some are quite normal except with some daemonic interference, like pools of nurgle-spawned sludge, or giant cauldrons of blood growing from the earth itself. The more extreme examples literally have no stable laws of physics, and the environment is completely suberservient to the will of the chaos gods.

Daemon worlds which are habitable are often populated by cultists and deformed mutants, who form the bulk of chaos armies when they invade the imperium. Sometimes a daemon world might be ruled by a single greater daemon, daemon prince or chaos champion, but this isn't always true.

In use, the term is somewhat flexible, as it can vary from a planet caught in the Eye of Terror and warped accordingly to simply a world where the existing planetary government has been given over to cultists and is rife with daemon worship. The former is, as Mantis said, a world in which the laws of physics are changed and played with to the extent that, for example, squares have nine sides, or that the total angles of a triangle equal three hundred and ninety-six instead of one hundred and eighty. People walk upside down, side to side, inside out (I mean inside out) and generally behave in manners that reality doesn't come to terms with.

Alternately, it may mean a world which cultist rebellions have resulted in the widespread worship of one or more daemon lords, who then - fuelled by the worship itself - arrive on the planet and terraform it to something more hospitable to their kind. A daemon world is, effectively, the only material place where a daemon can exist with taking instability tests constantly.

The most literal description of the world itself would be "hell on earth." Most Black Library publications involving daemon worlds portray them as hideously malformed and corrupted by the presence of one or more daemon lords, where entire fields are literally saturated in the blood of millions of sacrifices. The Night Lords homeworld in the Eye of Terror, for example, possesses a mighty fortress constructed entirely out of the fused skin, muscle and bone of living prisoners, who remain alive forever, their faces screaming from the walls themselves. The end fate for a planet like that is inevitably Exterminatus.
