Well I might be a Ork Player Firstly but I was once a very hardened IG kill team player so...I found these on GW forum. Enjoy.

The Imperial Guard! Heroic Senior Officer and Colonel-Commisar!

Colenal-Commisar first!

For this character, use the stat line of a Commissar. The Colonel-Commisar counts as an Independant Character rather than an Advisor.

Choice of one item from this list +10 points
+1 S
+1 W
+1 A

Choice of one item from this list +20 points
-Careful Consideration
The Colonel-Commisar considers every move his troops make very carefully. Once both armies are deployed but before the dice are rolled to determine who goes first, the Imperial Guard player may exchange the position of any two Imperial Guard units.

-The Emperor Protects!
Any Imperial unit with a model within 6" of the Colonel-Commisar counts as having a 5+ Invulnerable save as long as they have not failed a Morale test during the game.

Now for the Heroic Senior Officier! (Now would be the time to make jokes about Imperial Guard being anything but heroic, but that would just be mean.)

Choice of one item from this list +10 points
+1 WS
+1 S
+1 T

-Enormous Respect
Units using the Heroic Senior Officer's Leadership may add +1 to it, effectively counting it as 10.

-Gung Ho
The Heroic Senior Officer is truly Heroic! Any Imperial Guard unit with line of sight to the HSO can use his Leadership as long as he is closer to the enemy hthan the unit in question.
In addition, up to two veterans in the Command HQ unit can take Demolition Charges for 10 points each.

-Psychic Null
All psychic powers (friend or foe) are nullified on a 2+. Only powers affecting the officer or his unit can be nullified.

Unless they change the wording, this one will be quite abuseable. Have a unit infiltrate close to your opponent, then swap that unit with a Leman Russ Demolisher. Boom. First turn fire with the big gun.

I saw these earlier, they where talking about it over on IRC and I was linked to the thread in the GW forum. I do however remain doubtful about the authenticity of these, they may be ideas from the GW staff, but I doubt they're the final print. Still, nice of you tost it here.

Sweet deal!

An HSO with +1 S and Enormous Respect, carapace armor, Power weapon, Plasma pistol and bionics. An S4 machine that can pop Terminators and get back up on a 6:w00t:

As for authenticity, I too read the original(?) thread and the guy said he *bought* them from his local GW...Can any one confirm the sales of any books that would have this? I think it a bit unlikely since the Medusa book hasn't been released yet(Or has it?).

Perhaps it is true. It would be nice to add an extra +T to the commander so that he wont get instakilled so easily =P The commissar looks to be exactly what i wanted in them. I hate that they had to be advisors and if i wanted it to change i had to scarifice a doctrine point as well as 10 pts. SO maybe a commisar w/ +1 S and a powerfist joining a front line platoon and chargin an enemy will be sick. 2 stength 8 armor save ignoring attacks would be nice, techinquely you would be dropping 1 terminator a turn and you could instaskill those expensive marine characters =D

+1 T on the HSO seems unlikely. Even being a strong human, I doubt they'd be as tough as a Marine, Ork or Ogryn.

But if its true, I'll be a very happy chappy. No more instakilled by Multilasers etc!

Gung ho - Nice premise. Though sticking your HSO infront of your main army so they get Ld...he'll be the first to die and therefore you lose all that Ld.

If I were taking those models I'd have:

Command Platoon
1 HSO with Psychic null and +1 T and Iron Discipline.
1 Colonel Commisar with +1 W and The Emporer Protects
1 Standard Bearer
1 Mortar

Thats a Ld 10 bubble, a 5+ Invunerable save, T4 HQ, nothing around them is likely to run on a re-rollable Ld 10, 3 Wound commisar there to.
Not to forget the annoying mortar pot shots.

On top of that, when the enemy librarian Drop pods in, Fear of Darkness can be nullified because it will most likely affect the HQ guy.
However it could be argued that it would only nullify the effect on the Command Platoon, but ambiguous wording is great!

Looks nice

Have you read the SM rules? They can mount their characters in dreadnoughts, meaning you'll have a drop podding librarian dreadnought with a 4+ invuerable from an iron halo, a DCCW-Force Weapon and Veil of time to make him into a fighting moster of ridicilous power. Oh yeah, don't forget he's also totting around an assault cannon.

yeah, this will make for a death match of hyper overpowered characters. (Did you see the dark eldar one that makes their archon double strength and toughness?!?) They're all overpowering, but if they're all overpowered I guess that's fair

 But our IG options seem almost fair and balanced. Other than the 'Emperor Protects' rule, they all seem fairly feasable as doctrines.

I checked the SM ones, I'm hoping that being in a Dreanought means that they get armour values...and roll on penetration tables.
We'll see who's overpowered when a battle cannon hits them in the face!

Just for the record:

I checked this and was informed that these hand-outs are a US GW store thing that exists purely for the fun of it.

It should be noted they are in no way connected to Medusa V.

Since they're ok to be posted, I'll unlock the post so you can continue the discussion, if you please.

That was from a moderator 'MOD-Geifer (Torsten)'. On the GW forums, shame I like the IG ones, they are fluffy. Apart from 'Psychic Null' and 'Emperor Protects' anyway.

Hmm. It doesn't really look very amazaing to me... I would much rather have my JO mounted in a dreadnought than given an extra toughness.
However, what would be nice would be the ablility to squeeze some more demo charges into an HQ! Kind of pricey, but imagine dropping in with an officer and his crew of engineers, (an 80 point squad) and hucking *two* demo charges at a cluster of SM's... BOOM! :w00t:
But you're saying that these aren't actually chapter approved? Because that means I can't actually use them... my friends aren't very lenient about illegal rules and whatnot.
