1000pt Nid Army Second Try(Revised)

HQ:
Broodlord- 80- EC
x8 Genestealers- 160- EC

Elite:
3x3 Warriors-348- ES, EC, TS, x6ST, x3VC, x3 Devourers, X3 Deathspitters

Troops:
x8 Termangants- 48
x8 Hormagaunts- 80
x3 Ripper Swarms- 36- ES, Spinefists

Heavy:
Biovore- 55- Bio-acid
Gunfex- 148- ES, VC, BS

Its not a lot of models and I still have like forty extra points to fling around where do you suggest that they go, comments appreciated

That's an odd combo of weapons (it should be x9 ST, btw). Consider taking either pure deathspitters (with Venom Cannon) or pure devourers (with Barbed Strangler). Mixing and matching seems ineffecient. Consider replacing the ScyTal with Rending Claws to make enemies less likely to assault them.

Point costs are odd here. Might want to double-check your math.

ES, Spinefists, Adrenal Glands (I), and Leaping gets you a nasty three-model surprise (7 attacks on the charge!). EC if you want them to last a bit longer in CC.

Not a fan of these in low point games... maybe consider toxin mines too, to deal with Land Speeders, Piranha or other open topped skimmers.

Get him Reinforced Chitin or (if you expect to see a lot of AP3 *looks at the Tau*) Extended Carapace.

little confused about what you mean here
are you saying replace the bio-acid with toxin? or take both?
(this came up in the biovore thread but i dont think anyone has had a solid answer yet whether you can take multiple types of mines)

Having just reread the Biovore rules... I've got to apologize for suggesting taking two types of mines, it looks like Biovores can't do that anymore (which is a pity, because it made them flexible and almost worth taking in 4th ed...).

8 genestealers are a bit hard to infiltrate. Reduce them to 5 or 6. Add flesh hooks to your BL

Shooty warriors are cr@p compared to a Tyrant with a VC. If you must have Warriors use CC leapers.

These broods are too small to be effective you want at least 12 to be useful.

Consider giving the 'fex reinforce chitin.

Too many points are sunk into Warriors. Swap some for Genestealers. A single Biovore won't do much drop it for some more stealers.
