This is my 8-year old sister's creation. We're going to definately use that Tyrant, possibly with wings. She wants a lot of those Hormagaunts and at least 2 Godzillas.
This is an example of the Gaunt genus

What should she use?

Looks great. Personally I would skip the biomorphs on the Hormies and get some genestealers as well to help back them up. Definately grab wings ont he tyrant to help your winged warriors out. I would grab another carnifex so you can hide your raveners behind them until your ready to pounce.

On the HT I would drop the Bio plasma as it isn't usually to usefull and drop the extended carpace for some tyrant guard as they add a lot to your survivablity.

The three lictors may be much and might be worthless(if you have little area terrian) but if you have lots of area terrain then deffinatly go for it  . Not to mention if you are deep striking your ravenours(though I don't recomend it).

Not sure if it's the best idea to put toxin sacs on hormagaunts as it really beefs up their point cost which isn't good since these guys can die in DROVES. IMO if you want them be more effecient give them AD for I and WS as it increases their survivabilty by a lot while only costing 12pts a model. But if you must then I might recomend droping fleshhooks for +1 WS as +1 I is invaluble on them IMO. Also might want more termagaunts to be distractions since you have so many points in your hormagaunts. Last thing split them into smaller units so they enemy has to shoot more then 2 big units.

Ravenours MUST have rending claws as this increases their killing power tremendously. The 2 pts saved are not worth it IMO go for the upgrade. Don't leave them all in one group as ravenours are very frail so split them up into the 3 FA slots so the enemy has to spend firepower to kill only 1 or 2 ravenours instead of all 5 at onces.

Warriors cannot take EC once they have wings it says so under wings biomorph and at the bottom of the warriors page. Drop the toxin sacs and lash whip and give them rending claws increases killing power a lot.

Cheap CC carnifex not too bad but drop the bio plasma as it is not worth it on them since the enemy still gets an armor save. Also toxic maisma is pretty good on him since he only has 4 WS not to mention any unit with him benifits from the oppenents -1 WS.

Seems to me you want the psychic choir with your HT and zoans. So keep your zoans and HT close together so they can -3 from the enemys Ld test and make them run away and get run down by your hormagaunts  .

The only downside I see in this list is not enough fast synapse to keep up with you hormagaunts. So you could either give your HT wings and warp field(with him being a big target he will definatly need that 2+ save) and IMO also 2 TL dev as he then hurls 12 reroll to hit and wound shots at them(if you want more info on these guys just ask :) ). Could also go for more flying warriors but they are very fragile with only 5+ saves.

P.S. Wow your sister is pretty good at making list(for only being an 8 year old  ) and is using tyranids which is strange to me but oh well she choose right :D .

Yeah. She sees my Marine Army lists and wants to beat them.

She really wants the Hormagaunts to be as they are, she knows the stats and all, and she sees hitting first with the same strength as a marine invaluable. She also likes to be able to scale cliffs, hence the Flesh hooks.

And YES to the psychic choir. We both agree that it's a mean thing to do to enemy psykers, reducing their LD by 3. It also helps the enemy quail before the face of their foe, us.

She wants a Carnifex with S10 and a lot of feasable attacks in CQC. And Lictors are expensive, but very nice. She was going to use them to just drop in at the first possible moment and help with any other deepstriking untis.

We're working on a new list now. Taking in the info, she likes the sound of genestealers... How effective are feeder Tendrils on the buggers?

Genestealers with feeder tendrils are not the best since it allows you to hit on 3+ but with 6 WS its kinda pointless except that any unit 2" away gains preferd enemy as well so it might help some situations but not most. Also yes genestealers are very nasty in CC but they will be targeted a lot so you have to keep an eye on them. Also the hormagaunts can tie up units so that your genestealers can come in for the kill. Hope this all helps.

I'd ignore the tendrils as each of your 3 lictors come equipped with them and can help out your hormagaunts. There are only a few models in the entire game that genestealers would need tendrils for and i don't think SM have such a model. Against SM i would suggest putting scuttle and EC on your stealers that makes them expensive at 23pts but it gives them a save vs bolter fire and gets them to the enemy as fast as your hormagaunts.
