Very cool. I especially like the deer-head thingy around the Heavy Bolter.
My only gripe is how the one not firing the gun is holding the dead guardsmen's head...looks akward. I suggest finding a hand that is holding a head by the hair.
A bit of GS would probably help with blending the various parts together, and I think that the base could do with a litte more thought (ie: bits of splintered rock pointing up at odd angles; and anything to make the ground not entirely level, really).

I actually wanted to make the ground look like it was scorched. I need to find out how to make black static grass, then put flecks of red and orange and burnt logs and whatnot on the base.
No! Seriously- coloured flock from non-GW suppliers is dirt cheap. Static grass isn't and you'll use lots of it doing this. If you try and paint static grass it will go all lumpy, too.
As Jon said - Drill the damn barrel, you have gon to all that time and trouble on the conversion and are let down by stupid GW barrel - drill it, it only takes a minute
Also agree with minus t - a little GS will smooth out the poins between the FW stuff, the cadian stuff and the chaos stuff
It's amazing what a tiny detail like that makes, from the big ICs all the way down to troops. Buy the pin vise, it is truly worth the investment. Especially if you are going to the trouble of doing a nice conversion like this one.
The lemming in me says, "Drill the barrel." You won't regret it.
Some have mentioned the hand that is holding the head... I actually like this. I prefer it to holding it by the hair... what you might want to do, though, is bend the fingers of that hand. He would, more likely, be gripping the head than letting it sit in his open hand. Especially at that angle.
A couple (very) small snakes of Greenstuff coming out of the neck (at both, the body and the head) would look better. Alternatively, you can put a SMALL lump of it on each part (head & body) and form it a bit to look like "stuff" hanging out.
Have any plastic skeletons? a bit of spine hanging down from the head would give it that "forcefully RIPPED" look.
Even with the scorched earth look you want, some sand and small rocks would break the base up nicely... especially if you remember to put some around the bases of those headstones, as well.
I like the addition of the skull. I'd suggest "lashing" it to the bolter with some thin string. Give it a coat of superglue & it'll make it hard. painted up, it'll look like rope binding the skull around it.
For the head holder, it looks like he's trying to get the head off his hand (Get it off!! Gett itt offf!!!) Maybe cut off ends of fingers and replace em to bend around head (GS here).
Very choasy conversion and great use of FW stuff, I agree with the advice posted on here.
