Hey everyone. My chef class is making gingerbread houses. I want to do something 40k-ish and original. I figured a tank would be best, but I was going to try to get some advice. What tank pattern do you think would be easiest to model? What might I use? I have a few extra unpainted Guard that I could add Santa hats to vis a vis our friend Robizzle. Any thoughts?
Sounds Delicious =PPPPP hmm what kind of tank? Ig/SM? well i would have to say probably the chimera. its just all flat surfaces and the turrets on the back could be gum drops =P Good luck
Perhaps if you decide to go the basilisk route, you could use one of those fancy wafers, the ones that are rolled up and are about 3/8- 1/2" thick. Or you could use them to make the turrets on any tank that has a "big gun."
That might be for the best... if it's an American public school, they don't take too kindly to depictions of weaponry right now (you can get in trouble for drawing a stickman with a stick gun).
Awwwww.... you could've made an awesome scene with the Russ blasting through a gingerbread house and firing at a group of fleeing gingerbread men. Man, I would PAY to see that.
Too bad. The diorama would be amazing. Having it with a terrain mod on the front crushing some small barricade with some traitor guardsmen running in terror would be neat.
I made a similar diorama a couple of years ago. It was a Lemon Rusk battle tank versus some Corn(flake) Beserkers. A tank base made out of babies rusks, topped with a turret made from half a lemon, and some Beserkers with corkflake shoulder pads(got a bit lazy at that part).
A gingercake tank would be much more apetising though. Make one anyway.
And send me a slice.
You know you devote too much of your mind to 'the game' when...
Heck, I'd build the tank anyways, and then sort-of 'sneak' it between the houses. I'm an aritist and did somthing especially vile and along the same lines. I build a small clay preadator (guns'n'all) and stuck it into the kiln with lots of girlie fairies and unimaginative 'manly' sculptures. I forgot that any hollow object larger than a golf-ball must have a venting hole in it someplace or the expanding gasses make lots of fun. Essentially, the thing when off like a 6 on the pen. table and there was shrapnel through everyone's stuff.
It was an accident... really... The Predator of Ultimate Doom
