Just some personal terrain...

For a variety of reasons, I've had to construct a good bit of personal terrain including a gaming table, just thought I'd post a nice little sampling of what my little gaming group uses. The running joke is that is that our terrain is actually better than most of the gaming stores in the area (sad but true), enjoy...

Hey Mastershake, those are some nice looking terrain pieces mate:). I'm personally not a big fan of those GW jungle trees, but the base they are on is great. I especially like the use of the old rhino for a terrain piece - nice touch there:D.

Cheers,
Rich.

Nice terrain. I particularly like the one with the beat up doors, and that demolished rhino is
really cool. Do you ever use it to take the place of one destroyed in the game? Or just have it already out on the table?

Actually the rhino is our objective/proxy vehicle. If the mission calls for defending something it's the "Ultra-Rhino" as it is know. So far it has stood in for a rhino, immolator, monolith, and exorcist. Most of the time though it's just extra terrain.

What did you use for flooring in the COD building, the pic right above the tree stand? It looks smooth and shiny (I can see the light reflecting off the surface from the window in the back wall). The clean surface is a bit of a contrast with the all rubble bases of the other pieces - a bit out of place in a destroyed city, but still a nice change of pace.

Dear All Concerned,

Wow, these pics look great. Claps for you. Although I think most stores have good terrain, if I made terrain this good, I'd be selling it to the store! Have you thought about making a tabletop board. P.S. You can get some toy trucks and p[lasticard to make random destroyed ork vehicles.

The building is actually just bleached bone, it might just be the pic making it look glossy. I decided that since the building was largely intact it might be nice to get a change of pace and add some more interesting flooring.

Very nice. They look great and beat most of the stuff that's in the stores. The GW Helsinki has quite good terrain, but most of the other places I have don't have that much in the way of good-looking stuff. Sure, they have a lot more than most players do, but usually the ones that players make looks way better.
