I know this is a very odd list. I also realize that tzeentch makes the weakest daemon princes. I never build armies to win but rather armies that follow fluff and are fun to play. 246 wounds seems fun to me (and to see the look on your opponents face).
I don't know if you should assume either of those yet jecjackal, however I do know you should wait at least twenty four hours before believing no one is going to post about your list. (Rather than the twenty two hours you waited.)
Is this a chaos lord? I don't have my codex on me but I'd think he would have to much daemonic wargear unless otherwise. If it is a lord, then I think you still need an arch heretic or aspiring champion since (last I had the tie to check) chaos lords are allies that can only be attached to lost and the damned armies after the compulsary choices have been filled.
I will say this about the HQ though; at about 15% of your army total he's a big sink. The general rule of thumb is usually try for only 10% into your total in your HQ.
The look on your oppoenents face will more likely come from him/her seeing you plop sixt gibbering hordes and twenty big mutants on the field. Not the amount of wounds your army has in total; however your right an army with that many wounds does look fun. (About time someone other than the guard and 'nids got to have some of that fun...8))
It definetely is a prince going by his daemonic gifts and you are correct that it has to be a Lt. to be the HQ of the army. Other than that discrepancy, I would love to see how this list does, if nothing else it would be a fun game to watch.
Does anyone have any HQ suggestions? i'm upset that i lose the Prince of Change unless i toss in a weak HQ. I understand that hes pricey (play tzeentch in fantasy and tell me of expensive heroes lol).
Maybe an asprining champion as the daemon vessel for the lord o' change? Still gives you as many wounds, and fits point wise. Not as good as the prince, but does kind of keep with the theme.
Lord of Change (160)
Winds of Chaos
Aspiring Champion (57)
Bolt Pistol
C.C.W.
Mark of Tzeentch
Daemon Chains
I like the lord of change. The only problem is getting an aspiring champion would require me to get a squad of mutants or traitors so he would have somthing to attach to. unless ac's can attach to big mutants. i'm going to ask the main chaos forum to see if this is legal.
i like this list, and it's many wounds but a would say that killing tanks may be a problem, maybe add a squad of Obliterators,
looks fun to play
