Some revisions to my Guard army. I just like feedback, it helps me think.

Iron Fangs Command Platoon = 113 pts
Junior Officer w/ Honorifica Imperialis, Surveyor
1 Vet. Standard Bearer, 1 Mortar, 1 Master-Vox

Inquisitor w/ Emperor's Tarot, 2 Mystics = 47 pts

Callidus Assasin = 120 pts

Platoon Command w/ Mortar and Surveyor
3x Guard Squads w/ Heavy Bolter, Plasma Gun and Vox = 307 pts

Platoon Command w/ Mortar and Surveyor
3x Guard Squads 2/ Lascannon, Plasma Gun and Vox = 347 pts

9x Rough Riders w/ 1 Vet. Sarge, Vox and Hunting Lances = 121 pts

Basilisk w/ Indirect Fire and Improved Comms = 145 pts

2x Leman Russ w/ Hull Heavy Bolter, Extra Armor = 150 pts each

Doctrines:
Close Order Drill
Rough Riders

If you have any questions just ask and I'll explain myself, the only thing I'm concerned about is models, I wanted over 100 bodies but we can't have everything.......

I like the list. I would however, try to find a way to get another JO command with a mortar and splitting the squads into 2 squads in 3 platoons (more deployment options this way). Possibly drop the mystics, a rough rider, and surveyors. Hope this helps

where you have the inquisitor surely it should be an inquisitor lord? Also the points seem a little low aswell. (Am I missing something as I cant find mystics, think its just me cant find the points for emporers tarot either damn me im going insane!) EDIT: was looking under witch hunters yup is all fine ignore me though still dont you need the inquisitor lord to get the assasin??

If you want more men drop the assasin and inquisitor, you could get a couple of squads for that. Drop the surveyors in the commands, the mortars cant use it (especially if you set up sufficiently well)

Why improved comms there isnt any deepstrike as far as I can see, in fact yup no need for it so spend the points elsewhere.

Grab iron discipline aswell, itll help you no end for only a few points.

Well if you want more men you have to have less tanks. The eternal guard dilema men or tanks? men or tanks? men no tanks no men bugger it il make 2 armies...

A basic Inquisitor is all you need for an Assassin. I won't drop it because it will pretty much win the game against other shooting armies by taking out Ld anchors and important gun sqauds.

The Mortars can use the Surveyors I'm pretty sure, the unit must be with 4d6 and the Mortar doesn't require LoS.

I may pickup Iron Discipline, I had considered it.

Improved Comms are Reserves rolls, not just Deep Strike. That applies to my Assassin and my Rough Riders and three tanks when Escalation is played. Big tournaments use Escalation 50% for all missions so I like to have my bases covered.

I read it as you may have one from each Codex and as the Inqusitor is OM and the Assassin is OH I think I'm fine. It says the Ordo Hereticus may not ally with a force compromising of any ally other than those of other Ordos, seems fine to me.

Haha not a very broken one but it does play in my favor here as I don't feel like spending 25 more poitns plus another henchmen.
