just wondering if alot of you fellow IG players will take the new up and coming Baneblade in your armys.
Yeah, you'll be invincible... until my reaver titan comes and stomps on your arse, and my swarm of nurglings plants a vortex grenade on the engine.:O Muh hu ha ha ha.It'll be my "i-declare-victory-unit" : all i have to do i place it on the table during deployement phase, say "i declare victory!" and pack my stuff up again! I'll be invincible!
Will I use a Baneblade? Nope, I run a fluffy light infantry list. There's no place there for a Baneblade.
Nobody knows any specific details yet (or at least nobody I have had the good fortune to talk to), new rules for Super-Heavy vehicles will also be included in Apocalypse so it's also unknown whether the 3000+ rule is still in existence.Jacaran said:Where are the rules on that thing? The Apocalypse codex? ... Can it be used in 1500 point games? Or 3,000+ only? ... I'm pretty sure that the Baneblade will not be an option for LatD, if thats what you mean by traitor guard. You cannot take a demolisher. LatD is more Chaos oriented anyways.
The forgeworld Baneblade has the same armour values as a leman russ demolisher, with +1 to it's rear. Rumours say that if you don't take the optional sponsoons you could upgrade +1 to your side aswell. I doubt AV15 though, they'd rather give it more structure points to increase it's damage taking capabilities instead.ive been wondering about the armour value my self, and ive heard a few figures around my local store, the chat is it will either be AV 15-16, most likely 15,
Apocalypse miniatures? If you're refering to the Baneblade then it's already got a set of rules in Imperial Armour volume 1.I'm sorry to hijack this thread but I have a Q, Will u be able to use apocalipse miniatures in standard WH40K, like in tournaments and stuff? From what everyones saying I guess you can but my understanding was that some of the appocalipse rules may clash with the 40K ones.
