Hi, this may sound like a noob-ish question but its always bothered me. Can an Eldar Wraithlord move six inches and then fire two heavy weapons like a bright lance and scatter laser? In the Monsterous Creature entry in the rules it says that a monsterous creature can fire two weapons, but can it move and fire? Thanks!
This should really go in the rules section, but to answer your question, yes. Monstrous Creatures may always fire up to two weapons in the shooting phase.
I don't believe that the Wraithlord can move and fire two Heavy weapons. I always thought that it could, then read the rules carefully one day and found out that it doesn't say anywhere that the Wraithlord can move and then fire heavy weapons like the brightlance/starcannon.
I would be ECSTATIC if someone could prove me wrong though!!
My copy of the rulebook only says 'May fire up to two weapons a turn' (MC, pg55).
Nothing is sai about being able to move, unless it says somewhere else in there that ive missed. Also, moving and firing heavy weapons? Can they do that too? I wouldn't be surprised, but still id like to see the clarification. Ill keep looking.
Doesn't the Wraithlord itself have some sort of special rule allowing it to move and fire heavy weapons? Can someone who has the Eldar codex check this?
You are thinking of the third edition rule, called implaccable advance, where it could fire 2 if it moved (since it wasn't an mc back then), or fire all weapons if you stayed stationary.
