I'll be up against some Smurfs for the most part (normal and space-wolf versions). Though Tau and 'nids are also possible. I was oringinally planning on using an Exorcist and tooling the other units up rather then putting the Armored Fist squads in already, but the models haven't come in yet :( The plan is to use the AFs to absorb some firepower while I get the Sisters into range for massed Bolter fire. The transports act as support with the heavy bolters. And the Seraphim can jump in, lay down 2 flame templates with Divine Guidance, then charge in for the attack, complete with power weapon. The Palatine just slogs along with a Sisters unit as a sort of extra mean Vet Superior, or maybe an AF squad if her Faithfulness and leadership would extend to them (plus she could fit in the transport with them).

I'm debating dropping one of the AF squads to put some meltas into the SoB squads and beef up the HQ a bit into a full-fledged jump-packed CC Cannoness to tag-team with the Seraphim. Might also put my 7th Seraphim model into play.

I'm still new to the game, so I don't have a lot of model options yet. This army fields everything I currently own except for a single Seraphim. I'm working in a sort of informal escalation style setting. So I'll be bringing in the Exorcist and an anti-psyker Inquisitor by the 1000 point area (as soon as they actually ship anyway =P).

The points may be off slightly, as I'm doing this from memory. If I need to trim it a bit, I'd just drop a pair of melta or plasma guns, and the Auspexes.

Fewer troops, but a lot more armor-piercing and a touch more CC. Basic strategy remains the same, but I'm trying to make up for the missing Exorcist's anti-armor capacity. Not as many mobile troops though, which could hurt, but added some armor to the remaining Chimera to extend it's life a little. The Cannoness would be hopping around on her own, trying to plug some holes and doing counter-Assault for the most part. Or backing up the Seraphim assaults (though not as part of the unit, I like Hit and Run too much ^_^).

my 750 tau list will defeat ur army in about 4 turns, you need some long range weapons, maybe lose the seraphins and have an exorcist or have some inducted guardsman platoon with las cannons or rockets launchers

Yeah, no kidding. I'm just waiting for the dang Exorcist model I ordered to ship :/ In the mean-time, this is more or less what I have to work with. I'm thinking of eventually adding Autocannons to the AF squads as well. Not as mean as a Lascannon, but gets 2 shots, which is good since guardsmen aren't the best shots ;) Of course, I don't have any heavy weapons team models yet either :(

Hmm, sice it's a friendly game I've got coming up, we're usually ok with using "stand-in" models to try out a unit you don't have models for. So here's a list assuming the other guys wind up ok with that.

That should give some nice long-range firepower with the Autocannon, Exorcist Launcher, and 2x Heavy Bolters. The sisters hold the line, Seraphim harrass what they can, and the long-range weapons pick at the enemy while the sides close in.

Better? :)
