Yes, they're awesome!
No, they don't interest me much.
Might buy one on a whim if it was cheap.
Haven't posted here for AGES ! Is anyone I knew still here, Camel? Stonehambey? Grephaun etc? Hehe it's been a pretty insane year, have had no time for GW stuff at all .
I have something to show ya, I remember there being a thread about them a while ago (Nagato I remember you drooling over them especially .) Take a look here. Also look at this one its possibly the nicest ever made, it's about 6 inches long, just to give you an idea of the detail quality. There are some insanely cool models there. Thats the kind of stuff I'm now doing.
Anways, I'm now just starting up a small buisiness in the 1:1250 scale ship industry. I'm just about to release my first few models actually. The thing is, there isn't much in the way of wargaming in the industry. Mainly its because its really for collectors and the models cost loads. But if there were some really good wargames around (I wrote one called fleet commander, does anyone still remember it?) and the mini's came in kit form and were ALOT cheaper, would you guys be interested? It's kinda specialist, but I think that it would interest BFG players especially. Would you even buy one or two because they looked nice? At the moment I just make ships and ship related scenery, but I want to expand alot to all sorts of things. I just want to know what kind of market there might be for unpainted resin kits of these things at forgeworld quality. I'd keep them very cheap though, and its possible if they're just kits. I would probably have brass etch parts to super detail them too. Any ideas you guys might have would be very welcome.
EDIT: I'm thinking of producing more modern stuff, as well as ww2. It depends on what people want .
Its good to be back .
Will J! I was wondering if we'd seen the last of you! Good to see you back mate
Since even GW is very much a side hobby for me (and not my main one eiter) I can't say I would consider buying any other models. But then again I'm probably not really your target market.
Historical games never interested me much, but I do like the idea of naval battles. Too much battleship as a kid and some addictive pirate video games when I was a teenager. I might be into it if there was a good game to go with it.
