a sale at.....games.....workshop ? *shudders* i wish.
I was just wondering if anybody could provide evidence for or against this, for many years i have had, what seems to be a memory of games workshop having a sale, i was with my dad at the time, this must have been about 8 or 9 years ago, yet i cant remember if games workshop have ever had a sale, thoughts ?
I remember once or twice they used to do 3 for 2 on certain blisters.
But otherwise, nothing much.

Mine had an auction, as in "get rid of all the old kits because we need room for new daemon stock! stupid daemonettes.
Create flames for a galaxy and it will be warm. Put a galaxy in flames and it will be warm for the rest of it's existence.
Yes, I do remember a sale.
It was many years ago, I seem to recall something about ownership changeing but I'd take my ramblings with a grain of salt.
Each of the tables was piled high with discounted goods; I remember buying my first set, a box of plastic skaven gutter runners (The old sort, in the old-school green boxes, holding a single sword and shield)
Yeah, this was quite a long time ago. Eleven or so years?
They used to do "Grand Openings" when a store opened or they needed to get rid of excess stock, with 3 for 2 on all boxed sets and blisters in the store. They rocked. But they finished them about ten years or so ago...
