    Gametrailers.com - Onlive - GDC 09: Debut Tech Interview Part 1 HD

    What do you think about this concept? Will it work of fall flat on its face? Personally, I am looking forward to hearing more about this, it is a very interesting concept and would be a huge step in the gaming industry.

    Like one of the guys posting comments said, the idea is very reminiscent of the 'Phantom' console that was supposed to be released a number of years ago, and that concept fell flat on its face. It's a cool idea but very unlikely to actually work in the long run, at least in today's video game market.

    I like how he described the basic function of the internet as a sophisticated technology seven years in the making.

    OnLive has the same flaw that Steam does; I don't want to always be connected to the internet in order to play my games. I'm going to call it VaporWare until I actually see it launch.

    Agreed. Steam has had (and still has) a lot of issues with big launches. It's just a lot of hype right now and I'm going to stay sceptical, but if they manage to pull it off then wow.
