Everyone I know who has seen it says it was the biggest pile of garbage. Avoid.
I've seen SOO many good movies recently.
Movies off the top of the head to catch:
Harold & Kumar (oh lord, it was hilarious)
The Bourne Supremacy.
I watched it last Saturday night. It was actually pretty good. A lot of dialogue, and use of color. Your initial guess to the town's secret will be smashed aside towards the end of the movie. Social commentary. Its not a villagers fight killer monsters movie, but there is some good action here and there. I'd pay to see it, if I were you. Its a little better than something I'd wait to rent, but not good enough to pay for another movie ticket.
Someone please tell me if I read too much into this movie. It was a steaming pile of you know what making a cliched and hackneyed statement about the current administration of the United States.
I was extremely dissapointed as I have really enjoyed M Night Shamaylan's past movies. Signs was an incredibly good film and so were his others.
Oh well, at least his plot twists don't cheat, to his credit.
“Cry ‘Havoc’ and let slip the dogs of war! - Julius Caesar, Act III, Scene I
From what I've heard it was pretty good. Haven't seen it yet myself, but when I do I'll try not to think about the politcal meaning to it.Why does everything have to have double meanings these days? God when will film makers realise, we don't go to the movies to think we go to be entertained.
I thought it was pretty stupid. Most scary movies leave you scared, or at least creeped out. This was just kind of.... sad.
Oh yes, by the way, the scary thing about the movie is not the actual movie itself, but instead the music they play. Shocking stuff, really.
Sad in a 'It's sad a movie can suck that much' or in a 'omg poor timmy' way?
And why do people like Signs? I didn't like it. I hated spiderman too. Is there something wrong with me?
probably..but I hate signs too. It was boring and over-hyped,and is it just me or does Mel Gibson's acting just keep getting worse and worse? Spiderman was ok for a superhero movie, but that's not really saying much.they should have had Doc Oc in the forst one though, considering he was the first guy that Spidey actualy fought....i think....
I heard that it was scary, but that was from 2, 14 year old girls..... so I dont know
I liked it... it was really weird, the ending was messed up (im not gonna give it away) most of M. Night Shamalyns films have shocking endings this one was just like W T F that was *****ed up. I would recomend it though
"Everyone should try arrogance, it's absolutely wonderful. You can go out, do whatever you want, and go home. And the best part is, no matter what you do, or how much you ***** everything up, nothing's ever your fault because 'thou art god'."
