    Oooh, cute kitty.
    Is his name really Spacemoo?

My cat is only a few months old. And she just saw her firtst puffling yesterday (kindof a small bird that glides into town around this time. They're stupid little buggers who are attracted to brigh lights. You need to catch them and throw them out to sea otherwise they just die, get hit by cars, eaten by cats, etc.)

    Anyway.
My cat saw the puffling and was really amazed. Then we held the puffling and brought it to her so she could smell it. The puffling freaked and bit my cat in the leg. My cat swore revenge and spent the rest of the evening trying to kill the puffling, jumping on the box we kept it in, making these crazy growling noises and doing allsorts of acrobatics around the box.

Quite funny to see since my cat is totally devoid of any fur...so it looked like a crazy rat monkey.

    Ah, wrong Elgrun.
    Close, but wrong.

That is a Puffin, the adult version of a Puffling.

This , on the other hand, is a puffling.

They are very fun. They're starting to drop into town now. In no time it'll start raining these things.
It's usually the kids here that run after them and put them in boxes like on the pic. Then they're released the day after.

They're quite stupid and fun to chase. More often than not you step on them since they keep stopping and changing directions.
