"When Space Wolves call upon Russ or the Emperor in battle, it is to witness the deeds of Men and to judge The Fallen."
- Meditations upon the Fang
Reiterated for non-falsity...
While definitely gruesome, it is bloody and graphic in a classic Tarantino style, so not really offensive.
Mysterious Member of the ANZAC Clan

The Dutch Legion
Meh it was ok , slightly not enoth action or story line , a good film thou in places you'll notice the film slow down but seeing hitler gettin his arse kicked is always a joy :]
I saw this film and it was okay. Tarantino on top form certainly but it felt, in my opinion, a little too contrived. Basically, there was an underlying theme of the film that was pretty tiring; "We're Americans, we're awesome and we kill Nazis!! YEAH!! We won the war!!".*
Christoph Waltz (Hans Landa) did a fantastic job and deserves some sort of prize for the creepy and characterful portrayal of the SS Colonel. He really was excellent, a really 3-dimensional character with absolutely brilliant dialogue. The British spy (Michael Fassbender as Archie Hicox) was great but I wished he had gotten a little more screen time other than his token appearance and death.
I also felt Brad Pitt's character was a little overdone and his accent started to grate on me after a while. What's a man from Tennesee doing in an all-jew crack unit anyway?
All in all, I would have liked it a lot more if the Hicox had given some more screentime, Aldo Raine removed from the script and Eli Roth's Donowitz taken a bit more presedence.
* No offence to any Americans intended
