    Alcohol or gamesworkshop?

I was wondering what do you think you spend more on alcohol or gamesworkshop stuff? because they both seem expensive. well you probably get better price for pint than price for models.
And which do you think is more addictive?
    thanks

Superior stamina may win battles, but the ability to quickly recover wins wars.

Overall, I think alcohol is more expensive. It can cost you a lot of money. It can cost you your marriage, your health, your relationships with family, your career, your freedom, and even your life as well. I've never watched someone die from too many Lizardmen. I have watched people die from alcoholism.
The only difference between a madman and myself is that I am not mad.

i meant just money wise. gamesworkshop can break relationships i have heard of it, but i have heard of it break marriages. because a guy at my local gws had all his ig horde crashed and broken up because he wouldn't stand up and argue with her, so she got fed up ( i am sure that this is only the tip of the story and the only part that i want to hear, because i got told by him, about because it's not my business to know )

That depends on personal choice I'd say. For example, I'm a social drinker and will, by choice, never have more than one or two at a time, but by contrast, I'd be willing to bet money that there are people who spend droves more on alcohol, due to various reasons.

However, I also think alcohol has a significantly higher external cost, as mentioned earlier. Also, I will place caution on excessive mentioning of said externalities as they can be a bit of a personal spot for people and is detracting from the thread a bit.

    ED: Oh yeah, and moved.

lets see here, i drink about 2-3 times a year..
sipping on a nice cool rum and coke on midsummers eve and the likes.

I buy new hobby stuff every month.

I can safely say that i have spent more on wargaming than i ever have on alcohol.

Having spent lots of money I didn't have on both at seperate occasions, I can definitely say GW products are better. For a start I've still got my models and all I have left from the booze is a very battered body!

I usually have a few pints with my mates at the end of the week, and at parties and such. Then again I also buy lots of new models every week, so it's hard to say.
