So, have any of you avid Cradle of Filth fans been following this album? I have it now and I'm more than happy with it. It's got some pretty cool songs. My favourites have to be Coffin Fodder and Nypmhetamine. What do you guys think?

It's an ok album, but I still like the older albums much more.

Never a big fan of Cradle. I just can't stand little girl screams, to be honest.

If they were deep deathmetal stuff like Nile or Amon, then I would really really like them.

But how is this new CD??? New sounds they're producing finally???

Medusa and Hemlocke
Filthy Little Secret
Swansong for a Raven

I've only heard Nymphetamine and Coffin Fodder so far, it's proving difficult to locate real MP3's off the CD. Coffin Fodder is kinda a return to older CoF, I like it but it doesn't stand out. Nymphetamine is awesome. It reminds me of Her Ghost in the Fog, which is one of their best, imo. The video is a little off - I mean, Danni with dreads? The hell is going on here folks?

I've heard good things about Swansong though, that it's a sequel to Her Ghost...

I like Her Ghost in the Fog, was the first CoF song I ever heard, at the surprising age of 10 years.

My favourites are most likely Gabrielle, Gilded C*nt and Nyphetamine.

Had it Pre-Ordered along w. a long sleeve...

If my friends back home would live up to their name they'd sent it to me already (me being stuck out here in the middle of nowhere...I mean Norway...)
But yeah, I'd been following it. But I absolutely refuse to listen to any mp3's or sneak previews or anything....

When I get it I'll put the CD in my CD-player, grab a comfy chair, open the soda bottle...and just let the tunes go...

Right, I finally got it yesterday, and it's definately another reason Cradle of Filth is the best band in my opinion. So far from the songs I didn't know beforehand, Nemesis sticks out the most (the lyrics are *****ing brilliant, as on pretty much any CoF song), though Absinthe with Faust has a very interesting atmosphere to it (don't really know how to say it) and Mother of Abominations is cool simply because it's brutal, a worthy sequel to Ctulhu Dawn (from the Midian album).
I need to give it a few listents to see if it can replace Cruelty and the Beast as my favourite CoF album, but that's rather hard because the theme of that album is brilliant as well as the music itself. I can say Nymphetamine is yet another great album though ^_^ .

Ok, finally got ahold of the full CD last night. Love it, kind of a combination of Midian and Cruelty, imo. Nemesis, Gabrielle, Gilded C*nt, the long version of Nymphetamine, and Mother of Abominations are winning right now in my mind ^_^

Still a little freaked out by the Nymphetamine video... Danni and dreadlocks aren't natural...
