I'm just really impresed.
I dont really like The Beach Boys as a band, their not bad, but not in the caliber of other bands, like Queen or The Cranberries.
But I recently heard this song, and its like bieng striked by a bolt of pure pleasure. I just replayed it over and over, and it alwayes charmed me.
It has a perfect harmony of voices, and its the most romantic song ever.
I'll definetly play it at my wedding...

Those any of you out there share my sympathy?

The Beach Boys are fantastic. They are the single most underappreciated band of the youth of today. California surf music is just plain out of sight. You simply can't not sing-along and dance.

Uh, I sure can. I have an easier time singing along and dancing to Tool. And I still don't know what the hell he is saying.

Most of their songs I just start to seethe and rage, but some I enjoy. Not saying I don't like old music, I love the beatles, led zeplin, black sabbath, and pink floyd. Just, beach boys are a bit too happy for me, I guess.

I don't listen to Classic Rock. Nothing against it, just not my style. Nor do I like the beach boys.

I just can't stand happy music. Not that I like to be unhappy, but I have a Dark soul-type and therefore that kind of music is simply incompatable for me.

Oh you guys are a bunch of mopes. I suppose the music is a product of its location. California is just so damn beautiful and with its perfect weather, its hard not to be happy.

While Beach Boys are obviously very feel-good music, Brian Wilson did use Charles manson's lyrics in a few of his songs. That counts for something, right?
