I have just gone to see "Team America: World Police" in theater, and it is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen! I recommend all go to see this awsome movie, so that you will be offended in every way possible!

Theme song:

'Team America, F$*K YEA!
Here to save, the mother F$*KING DAY!
Internet, F$*K YEA!
SUVs, F$*K YEA!
Slavery, F$*K YEA!'

'It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees'-Pancho Villa

'You're not to be so blind with patriotism that you can't face reality. Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it or says it'-Malcolm X

If you hate socialist and commie scum or actors who think they are politicians, then this movie is for you.

If not, then you will be very very offended, but what do IIII care? You're an ***** and I'm a dick.

Well I didn't expect that. No, I did expect vulgar puppets delightfully being as offensive as possible. What I didn't expect was probably the best defense of America using the analogy of c*cks, p*ssies, and a**holes. Despite the jokes about American collateral damage and "bad I.N.T.E.L.L.I.G.E.N.C.E." in movie was so triumphantly pro-American I was taken aback that someone had the balls to do something like this when it's not very "cool" to be pro-USA. They thoroughly savaged the pop-culture fueled intellectual pacifist movement. The only problem I thought was that Micheal Moore thinks way too highly of his own importance to go out and become a suicide bomb. Apparrently those guys hate Micheal Moore because he edited their interview in Bowling For Columbine (Moore cut out the part where Trey Parker says that he doesn't think guns are the cause in which Moore agrees) and implied that the horrible piece of animation in that movie was their when it wasn't.

This movie not only confirms that they are gleeful libertarians with a right-wing streak, but that they are the Merry Pranksters (Ken Kesey and Co. - read "The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test) to this modern brand of counter-culteralism in this world. They are not slaves and mindless followers as the hippies were to their demagogues.

Ken Kesey and his Merry Pranksters, famous for not only being some of the first hippies, but also popularizing the drug acid, drove down to Berkely to a 1968 peace rally. They were in a bus painted red with swastikas and cross and skulls. Ken Kesey went on stage, told them all that they were going at it wrong and said "Just walk away." He sat down and played "Home on the Range" on his harmonica. Everyone was shocked - here were the icons of counter-culturalism joyfully smashing their utopian-world views.

Kesey also wrote "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," a brilliant but damning work against mental institutions. He then went on to shock his leftist fans by writing "Sometimes a Great Notion," a novel whose protagonist is a Union buster.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone are the iconoclasts we need so much in these times.

It wasn't really pro-American, it poked fun at everybody, and expanded the notion of over-patriotic americans

Wasn't pro-American!? Did you miss the last half hour of the movie? Trey Parker is a Libertarian and Matt Stone is a Republican. The whole point of the movie is that America steps on a lot of toes but what we do is right. Implying they poked fun at everybody equally is simply a rationalization by people who refuse to believe that such prominent counter-culture figures (much like one of my favorite former bad-boys of the left, Christopher Hitchens) have come out unabashedly pro american and definitively right-wing.

Oh, I won't "rationalize" it. I'll just take it at face value, and drop my respect level for them a few notches.

So we can't be patriotic just because other countries don't LIKE us?
