    Whiskey of choice?

This is my first ever topic here in the off topic forum ...

At the moment I'm sipping some Bushmills - black - Irish whiskey on the rocks.

Any particular whiskey of choice out there? Perhaps a different spirit?

I will drink your milk shake! I will drink it up! And I will kick your puppy ...

Not whiskey, but unique, delicious and worth mentioning.
Every product they make is great.

Not so much a fan of said spirits but i have my share of 'mainstream consumption products'. Namely Famous Grouse,Jack Daniels and Johny Walker the Blue stuff.

    Edit:More of a vodka person myself.Hey Spittle72 those sound good,do they 'kick'?

They have quite a "bite" to them.
I also prefer a good smooth Russian vodka that tastes good straight.

Jack Daniels' American Honey goes down well enough straight, and will get you annihilated in appropriate fratboy fashion. My last real night out I had two shots of this after 6 shots of rum and finished off with 3 really shitty beers. I wound up in a friendly scrap with a Marine just back from Afghanistan for the hell of it. Bad idea - I still can't get the bloodstains out of my shirt. Makes an entertaining story though (I got my ass kicked, I'll admit it).

I prefer rum though. Pistol and Cask is my personal favorite, Captain in a pinch, Private Stock if I'm feeling "poverty chic" and any time I drink at the beach I make sure to mix up one glass of grog (brine/seawater, rum, lemon juice) just on principle. I grew up by the beach, so rum has sort of always been my go-to. SoCal also gave me a taste for tequila, although I think that it's Mexicos revenge on white people. Things happen with tequila that just don't happen any other time I'm drunk.

lol no shame in getting your ass kicked by a Marine. Kind of reminds me of when my brother got back from Iraq. The family did all the hugs and kisses and crying and blah blah blah. After it started to quiet down and I gave each other a look, went downstairs and proceeded to kick the crap out of each other. lol, brothers ... can't show they care without spilling each others blood. I'd have made a great Marauder.

    SoCal
    lol

I drank too much of that once and I'll never drink it again. And Rum almost killed me. Probably not a good idea to do ten shots in 45 minutes on an empty stomach when you weigh 140 pounds. lol!
