    Favourite Horror Movie

I want to know peoples favourite horror movies and why it's that one. Let people know if it's an original release or a remake and why you preffer that version of it.

You may also like to mention your favourite horror theme.

For me my favourite horror movies are Zombie horrors, not the new ones where they can run and jump massive distances. No, the slow moving easy to get past but scary as a herd zombies.

Movie of choice: The original Dawn of the Dead

Poltergeist. Okay, so It's not all that scary, but god I love that movie.

    Plus paranormal activity 3.

John Carpenter's The Thing and The Fog
Remake of The Fog sucked didn't stick to the story and the newer movie of The Thing was pretty good since it was about what happened before the first movie but I still like the first better.

Have to agree with you on the fog why remake what is already good. I will be interested to see how the new evil dead turns out because the original was amazing!

Probably not that good but you never know. I favor the older horror movies over the new ones because they are more suspenseful and have better plots. Rather then someone just chasing some people around the whole movie with tons of blood and gore.

I second this!! They focus more on effects than a good story

    "28 Days Later".

Only here in Britain could we come up with such a disturbingly realistic story.

I concur with opinion on "The Poltergeist" though as it still gives me the willies thirty years later. Even the sequels were completely mental, a rarity for 80s horror.

Ah 28 days later was a good film for sure, but for the sake of it Manchester morgue was awesome and if anyone has seen it White Zombie toted as one of the first zombie films
