ok for some reason i am no longer allowed to start polls (even with a 700+post count)
so out of the following what is your favorite ww2 battle tank

heres a few (if not here plz describe it)

sherman (the most widly built tank possibly ever more of these were built than all of the german tanks put together)
tiger (or king tiger basicly the biggest and baddest tank the germans had to offer something no tank commender would like to meet head on)
churchill( british tank one of the toughest the allies had to offer and one of the few who could challenge the tigers panthers and mk4's head on)
panther (another german bad boy smaller than the tiger but still very nasty)
cromwell( another british tank general tank not anything to spectacular here)
T-34 (russian medium tank, this was stronger than most of which the germans could offer with sloaped armour this tank was extreamly tough for its class )
panzer mk4 (german mainstay tank good blend of armour firepower and speed)
KV-1 (the russian monster tank, a slow unbelivibly tough tank almost invincable to german anti tank fire ,even the 88 ml flak, the king tiger was the only thing able to combat these)

I really have to take the Tiger in this!

Setting national pride aside, I have to conclude that German Tanks of the period ruled! It's a wonder they still don't!!

Wow.. random topic.

It's got to be the Mk1 Tiger. The big, square turret is very distinctive, and, unlike the other 'really big tanks' it was actually semi effective.

Kudos to the Americans though for building one of the worst tanks ever, and still winning.

I'd have to say the Russian T-34 because it was very technologically advanced for its time and it was the only tank in all of the choices that was specifically made for one purpose. To destroy all of the German tanks that come their way.
If a tree falls in the woods and there's no one 'round to hear it is it still my fault.

Im going to have to go with the German Panzer tanks, or ill just take that nice shiney tiger over there. Either way German Panzer divisions were too much of a problem for M4 shermans to take care of.

Scratch another up for the T-34 because my father drove one while he was in the army! I'm sentimentally attached to the tank I guess. Very closely followed by the Tiger though... love that one too.
The iron crowned is getting closer,
Swings his hammer down on him,
Like a thunderstorm he's crushing,
Down the Noldor's proudest king.

Under my foot, so hopeless it seems.
You've troubled my day, now feel the pain.
