I know that there is a lot of slang for Warhammer 40k but I'm not clear on most of them, I do know that a flashlight, is a lasgun and a cooker, is a meltagun and Imps, are Imperial Guard. But am not sure I got them all, like I'm not sure what vanilla marines are? If anyone has more to add feel free.

Vanilla marines are an army of Space Marines that do not use Chapter Traits. The word Vanilla in general means an army taken from the basic codex list with no add-ons or customisation.
e.g. Vanilla Eldar are not Craftworld or Ulthwe Strike Force
Vanilla Guard do not use doctrines
