Medical update blog thingee.
I've been chillin' at the Mater Public Adult Hospital for the last 2 1/2 weeks. It's an alright place and the staff are generally nice and professional. I'm the youngest in the ward (15) which means I got a Playstation 2 and Xbox hooked up to my room. I've been handling Chemo well though I hate having lumbar punctures. (They stick a needle into the cartlidge gap of your spine and drain out some spinal fluid.) I still havn't lost hair on my head (Though I'm losing it in other places, )
Other than that I've been reading my Imp Guard codex several thousand times and I also love the Ciaphais Cain Novels. I got out of hospitial yesterday at 12:30, went back to some units that are near the hospital and just sat and played my Xbox for a few hours. I have to go back to hospital in the morning tommorow to get some platelets put in but other than that I've been good.
Sorry if none of this has made any sense, but a lot of words are racing through my head right now.
Oh, I don't really like the new layout either. It just dosn't feel right. Am I the only one
Hey Bobby good to hear you're going well mate.
I hear you on the lumbar puncture, I had to do interferon treatment for a blood disease a couple of years ago and they did these liver biopsies on me where they stick a tubular needle into your liver and take a piece out. Painful as, and you have to lie flat on your back for 6 hours afterwards to prevent internal bleeding.
How much longer you got to go? Only afew weeks isn't it?
Welcome back Bobby - even if it is for a few hours! Good to have you back.
Let's see, what's happened since you've been away... we changed to vBulletin from invision - takes a little getting used to but I like it now. Other than that... not much! Oh, there have been some shuffles arounds with army sections and the like.
Sounds like you've got all of the things you'd ever want in the hospital - xbox, playstation, novels, and GW stuff! Nice!
I'm sure that I speak for all of us here at LO when I say stay strong, keep positive and focused... and come back soon!
The iron crowned is getting closer,
Swings his hammer down on him,
Like a thunderstorm he's crushing,
Down the Noldor's proudest king.
Under my foot, so hopeless it seems.
You've troubled my day, now feel the pain.

hope you get better sooner rather than later.
sounds like your bludging in the hospital though, xbox and a ps2, greedy, lol.
once again get better soon
Heh. Check for me whether the head nurse really does have the dirtiest knees.
Xbox and PS2 in your room playing for several hours a day? Thats a pretty sweet deal, mate.
"It fits like clothes made out of wasps!"
Yea, you'll get used to the new layout once its fully sorted.
But glad all seems to be going well dude. Enjoy the PS2 and Xbox lol and hope all continues to go well =^___^=

Oy, that's rough. The very thought of having something inserted into my spiane makes me nauseus. At leats you have the XBox goodness to help take your mind off of it ^_^. Hang in there mate, and good luck.
Getting sick of Jell-O yet? ^_^
Sounds like you got a lot of good stuff to keep you occupied. Best of luck, as they say. I would think everyone here is pulling for you.
