    "borrowing models"

Here's the layout. Tournament coming up in a couple of weeks, not enough points. What to do? Buy new models of course, but what about money? ...Not enough either. Solution "borrow" one of your non-playing mates chimera, paintstrip it and paint it in your own colours and then use it in the tournament.

Did I do the wrong thing? What would you have done in the same situation? Max out your poor army and lose playing fun because of an army that isn't as good as it could be, or as I did "borrow" a friend's model?

    * A little side not about my mate, he hasn't played warhammer in 1 year and basically quit collecting and moved on with other hobbies and plus he's spoiled as hell. (just thought I'd mention that )

Did he give you permission to borrow it? If so who cares, if not he might be a little erked to put it mildly.

did you ask him if you could repaint the model? if not, it was a pretty crummy thing of you to do, even if he doesn't play with it any more.
if you are reading this signature, then you are wasting you're time, and i am wasting my time by writing it, so run along now, jimmy, run along.

no I didn't and I agree that it was a "crummy" thing to do, although I can't say I feel any guilt or anything, rather strange...

I would paint strip your head if you did that to any of my Rhinos. If he gave you permission then I would say that it is okay.

Definitely the wrong thing to do without permission. I strongly believe you should have asked first, but who am I?

Wow that was a sly thing to do. I would be fairly pissed of if you did that to me. Thing is will he miss it? and if he does he won't be able to prove it was his as its a different colour. Sly......

He left it at the local gaming club with the rest of his stuff, anyway he has said on several occasions that he want's to sell them etc. And caveman, yes it really was the perfect crime .
