    a quick question

i was wondering the game of choice on librarium online.

    warhammer fantasy or 40k.

im inclined to choose warhammer fantasy as my favourite.
mainly because i feel that to win in it you need to use tatics a whole lot more then you do in 40k. its also a great rule set.

Put me down for Warhammer Fantasy hands down, a lots more challenging tactically than WH40k IMO.
The iron crowned is getting closer,
Swings his hammer down on him,
    Like a thunderstorm he's crushing,
    Down the Noldor's proudest king.

Under my foot, so hopeless it seems.
You've troubled my day, now feel the pain.

I don't know about that Grimbog, the 2 systems just have more extreme levels of tactical situations. My vote however goes to Fantasy, as I like the models and the fluff. Cheers,

I prefer Fantasy, IMO, guns ruined the whole ethos of war
Life is too serious to be taken seriously

Eh..the whole "Sword and Sorcery" thing's been done to death. I'm not a big fan of guns either, but give me gigantic space knights that mutilate thier enemies by blasting them with self propelled, exploding soda cans. Give me flesh eating aliens and insane cyber-daemons! Give me death by the millions and the destruction of entire planets! Give me 40k damnit!

40K indeed, always been more into blassting than slashing.
Tanks and big guns just have a certain atraction that sword don't have to me.

It's a tough decision. I'm a big fan of fantasy stuff in general. From lotr to dnd to Wheel of Time books to Dark Elf Trilogy ect. So that makes me kinda lean to fantasy, cause fluff and I like swords and bows ect. Even tho I dont play it ( i am thinking of it tho )

But I enjoy 40k fluff ect too.

It's kinda split decision. But I pick WH40k for voting purposes

    Space Wolves- 4,000 pts
    Tau- 500pts

    Fantasy.

The fluff is SO much more interesting in my opinion.

fantasy as much more tactics than 40k, as if the space marines needed tacticals to shoot the crap out of you and charge in cc.
