Welcome to Librarium Online!
Well folks i'm 15 and just lost my wisdom teeth to surgery. I've done nothing but play games and watch tv i can't eat really cause my face is 4 inches wider on each side than normal. Being totally stoned on painkillers and anti-inflamintories i feel pretty wierd. Whose had their wisdom teeth out or has any stories they like to share.
your unlucky! thats pretty young to have them out. i had two pulled when i was 22, the dentist told me to take it easy and avoid anything strenuous until at least the next day..unfotunately i had to walk home (2 miles up hill) and then my dad made me lay a patio
hurtls like hell though when the dentist is yanking them out, and then it feels really weird to have a hole in the side of your gum, gets better quickly though..
PLAN CLAN MAN!!
He who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man- S. Johnson
ouch  ... this makes me not look forward to gettin my two uppers pulled ... my dentist told me i should get them pulled, but im putting it off for as long as possible ^_^ ... my sister had hers pulled and she couldnt eat anything except for porridge and other such items for a week... it was pretty funny at the time... but now it seems  ... yuck...
I'm 14 (15 on the 26th) and my wisdoms are just starting to come through, and the thought having them pulled out (Especially during cancer treatment) is really freaky.
Augustine- What do you mean you "lost them to surgery"? I'm hoping you mean that you got them pulled out by a dentist that was trying to actually do it and not like they were accidentily removed when they were like, operating on your toe or something....
I remember getting mine out. After it was over, the dentist told me to go the bathroom and take this little red pill. I wondered why the other patients were staring at me, but when I got to the restroom, I saw myself in the mirror. They could've at least wiped the blood from around my mouth before sending me out there. I looked like a stoned cannibal.
And then when I tried to take the pill, I had no sensation in my mouth. The damned thing kept falling out of my mouth. I couldn't control my tongue and anything but reflexive swallowing was out of the question.
Glad it's over.
But hang in there, dude. It's really not that bad compared to any of the other thousand operations you could've had. Like knee surgery, colon repair, anything cranial, etc.
oh btw bobby hows your cancer treatments going?
Yeah everythings goin well at the mo'. I'm due back for round 2b of chemo on the 23rd so I'll get to have my 15th b-day in hospital on the worst day of my treatment (Day 3 hits me like a sack of ****, usually up all night pukinng bile everywhere)
Had mine out when I was 17. Don't really remember much of it though, as I had all four done and they put me on some really good drugs for it.My face didn't swell at all, I just had these bruises like I had been punched in the face.I somehow managed to end up at home with some chics phone number in my pocket the next day but I still don't remember how I got it, or even how I got home, or why I was mising one of my shoes. That's what I get for letting my cousin take me home I guess, there's no telling what she talked me into while I was drugged.
Im 21, and my detist told me that my wisdom teeth would not become a problem for me, so I kept mine. I *hate* the idea of getting teeth pulled out.. there has got to be a better way. Perhaps with a little gene tampering, our children will not have to be borthered with stupid things like baldness, wisdom teeth, or the like. I hate being human.
i had three out. I had to go right under because of my asthma and possible complications they figured it would be safer to knock me out and do th surgery in the hospitol. My surgery didn't have any complications. aparently the sooner you get them out the better because the roots are smaller. i have had ice on my face not reeally any bruises though. good luck bobby
Our wiadom teeth have no room because we don't need them. cave men did because all the raw meat they ate + in a couple generations our baby toes won't have room on our feet brcause we don't walk enough(or so says dr Aurlick)
