    Thanks

    Jadda, I have a 40GB IPOD.
It has served me well for 7months, and the only thing I regrett is not buying the colour-screen one.

You would also have to buy a new pair of head-phones as the included ones sound plastic. Preferably Koss, Sporta-pro is good.

You should also keep in mind when using it as a disk it has the FAT32 system, not NTFS, therefore, it will have problems with large files, 4GB<, such as DVD`s.

    Hope this helps.

Don't bother with the I-mini, overrated. Get the i-river, much better music player, stores more songs, is colour and also can store pictures etc. The i-river's my preferance anyway,

If you can get an mp3-player of your choice you should def'n'l'y get that 40gb iPod. Why take 4gb when you can get 40? ;/

If you can find any, get a Jens of Sweden mp3-player looks and works great.
    Check out http://jensofsweden.com
It's a bit confussing site as some things are written in english and some in swedish.

Jens of Sweden tend to be pricy though, right? I just sold my 128mb JoS for 510 SEK.

If you buy JoS, you pay a great price for design.

i-river i-river i-river!!! why do so many people not know about the ipod's main competition?! check out this i-river model: http://reviews.cnet.com/iRiver_H340_...?tag=pdtl-list
it is like the 40gb ipod but better in some respects. for a cheaper one that is a 5gb:
    http://reviews.cnet.com/iRiver_H10_5...?tag=pdtl-list
the 5gb one comes in several different colors. my friend has the 5gb one and says that its really good. im thinking of getting one to replace my 256mb yepp. do research into all of the choices presented here to you. do not go on a whim which you will perhaps regret later as a bad choice.
