Oooh it's got chicken legs!

Everywhere... I've had old women asking where they can buy them for their granddaugters, and seen middle-aged men trying to work them out. It's such a load of crap too. The only time I've seen one that was remotely interesting was one that was in the shape of a helicopter... until I got told it took 4 days to do. Don't worry, it'll die in about 4 months. Hopefully.

I did a Google on it, but didnt find any. What is a scoobie?
Could you please enlighten me?
My hate is contagious...

Thin flexible plastic rods that you swirl round eachotehr and somehow they make a pattern. I ignore that kinda pants. It happened with pogs, then boneheadz, then god-knows how much more arse. Just ignore it and it goes away.

My niece(spelling?) has loads of them and shes seven......I would think most of us would be too old for such childish things...
A Rhino? SLOTH!

I dunno... where I am they seem to be pretty popular amoung 6th Form students... saying that, nobody likes 6th formers anyway :p
I think I should stop this... I'm a little worried that every other post here is from me...

I just left Sixth Form (uni in October) but the latest fad amongst our ranks are those rubber "Make Poverty History" bracelets. £2 for a rubber band, I mean jeez.

i tried one just to see what the fuss was all about. thier not that great! and i agree they are most popular in the 6th form. people are buying them 35 at a time!

Seems to me that these bands, with the sentiment on them, are trying to raise awareness and funds for those less fortunate than ourselves.Originally Posted by Zveroboy
It's not the piece of rubber you're paying for, that's just symbolic.
What price do you put on helping them if £2 seems too much?
Wolfkin

actually any one selling them for more than £1 is ripping you off the offical charity bands are only to be sold for £1 no more no less and all of the money is to be given to charity.
the annoying thing is all the football teams are making bands and sellling them for a fiver :/
