Well, I just had an urge to want to become a psychiatrist o_O. Personally, I find that anyone that wants to become a psychiatrist a little weird, and now I want to be one! Gah!
I need to know, is it weird?
As in how it's weird wanting to be a teacher when you are in school (who would wanted to be a teacher! Gah!)
What are weird jobs?
LO, LO, on the net. Who is the weirdest of them yet!
You know, you should visit a psychiatrist.
Nah, for real, that job might be a little wierd, but I'm sure it's interesting!
"Do you want your heretic rare, medium or well done, Lord Inquisitor?"
I dunno if it's really wierd, but i get up at half six in the morning to go and pick fruit as my job. But it's damn good pay, and not many people can boast that they've picked 68 kilos of broad beans at seven in the morning whilst half-asleep.
Although a really wierd job - some universities in the UK are doing a course called "Beckham studies" - that's right, looking in the tabloids etc for information on the Beckhams, writing a paper on their marital problems, etc - I think that probably one of the wierdest jobs you could get is being a lecturer for a Beckham studies class. Just imagine two lecturers talking- "well I have a masters in quantum physics" "Ah, but you'd be no use in my field - I took Beckham studies for three years and I am now top dog for all Beckhamal information in the UK"
The only difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people is that tattooed people are awesome and can kick your ass.

I think wanting to become a psychiatrist is perfectly normal. Then again, psychology and psychiatry are important parts of my studies and will feature even more prominently in the future. As a medical student, psychiatry is one of the many specialist educations that I can choose later on, and one of the more interesting at that. I might consider becoming a psychiatrist myself, in fact. As for being a teacher, I don’t think I have the patience. Or, when remembering my own high school class, the courage. :p As for people wanting to teach, I suggest you have a chat with Deadly Nightshade, because she is one of the few brave enough to actually be in that profession.Originally Posted by onlainari
As for myself, I am currently considering some rather weird jobs as well. Among other things I aspire to get a part-time job as a specimen preparator at my university, which would have me putting creepy things in jars, and I would also like to become what is nick-named a ‘vampire’ or ‘stabber’ at the local hospital, which is a med student collecting blood samples. Now these are weird jobs!

There are worse jobs. Plus most psychiatrists get payed well. Any type of psychiatrist in mind? I wouldn't really want to deal with young children or the criminally insane.
I work in a bulking cheese factory over the summer.
I can tell you about it if you really want, it's fascinating.

I'll trade some American Porter Ale for some of that cheese! Personally I would
think being a lead guitarist in a band or anything that has to do with the music industry
If you've seen spinal tap, then you'll know what I'm talking about!

This is bulking cheese. When you buy a ready made pizza and it says "100% Mozarella topping" it's actualy 10% Mozarella and 90% bulking cheese.
It's tasteless crap.
