It was announced with the new hall of heroes/ confilct tournament rules that all forge world models and special rules (including imperial armoury) where not allowed anymore. all armylists must be chosen from codexes, chapter approved and official sources with he chapter approved seal.
This is sad for players who perchased forge world models for play (my sky ray!) and worst for those who have put effort in building them.
Well, I suppose that was just a matter of time.
I can't honestly say it's surprising.
I really hope this isn't a sign of things to come with the Forge World "branch" of GW. They produce some serious high qualiy models. Unless it means GW is going to absorb them and release cheaper plastic versions of the FW models!
Yea....that does sound crazy.
Record as of 26 December for my Static Tau Cadre.
10 wins, 0 losses, and 1 draw.
Last game: Victory over Necron in a 600 point "kill em all" that lasted til turn 10 ending with a phase out.
ythe problem with forge world is that the profits are marginal, and really a pain to keep up with with thier own set of rules, wich are not fully playtested, some models are undercosted, and some overcosted.
As a side note, tournament organisers can allow models or armylists, it is up to them to decide if this list is too strong or that is underpowered and therefor allow it to be fielded.
