I watched the Hyde Park (London) show and thought it was great.
The Who RULES!!!!! no moon (sniffle)
neway what did you think of the worldwide performances?
I really can't think of anything witty to say.
I caught several of the shows (the one in Rome was actually pretty damn cool. Couldn't understand what was being sung about, but the guy was a great singer). Unfortuantly, I missed seeing Pink Floyd. And that vexes me.
"Some days you're the Mekboy building the kannon, the rest you're the grot being blown up by it."

"Dis iz my choppa, and herez me gun. Dat's for killin' and so'z dis one!"
- Bloodaxe Kommando Warchant
I'm reduced to reading about them.
But let's hope that their message gets through to the G8 leaders.

i thought it was a bit MOR although i suppose it has to be, great motive behind it though and i hope its made a difference and shown public opinion.
The Hyde park show confirmed for me that Pete Doherty really hasn't come through his drug problems, his performance with Elton John was terrible.
The Eden project show looked very interesting, i think Youssou N'Dour is great but would have loved to hear some other African stars i hadn't heard before
