As i see a lot of Ozzies on here i was wondering what everyones take on this years Ashes series is? (for non cricket fans the ashes is a test series between England and australia competed for every two years where england usually get stuffed) i know its converting a lot of non-cricket fans in my work- i cant remember a sporting event with so much drama for a good long time! two great teams playing at the top of their games- sometimes the tension is amazing!

Yep Old Trafford:Also known as The Great Escape for Australia. Kudos to Ponting and Warne. w00000! 1 - 1 and 2 tests left! Looks to be best seiries for ages. Looking forward to the end. As long as the Aussies win of course .
Yep, this year's Ashes are going to be close. But Australia will win of course :p ...

Not a chance, England are going to get the Ashes back this time. If it hadn't rained on Saturday for most of the day Australia would have been chasing a massive score and England would have had a day and a half to get them out.
Proper captain's innings from Ponting though, anyone that can stay at the crease for 7 hours deserves much kudos.
England are coming into form though ready for the next test, Vaughn and Strauss both hit centuries and Flintoff is looking great with bat and ball.
BRING IT ON!!!!!!
Helper monkey, bring me beer and donuts
I'm one of many aussies who want to see england win, but want to see a good series at the same time .
It's gone perfectly so far.
I WON $20! Wooo! My friends and I bet who would be the first Australian to score a century.
Noone had picked warney . That would have been funny. Nah, I knew it would be Ricky Ponting. Wooo!
