Welcome to Librarium Online!
I moved house about 3 or 4 months ago and last night finally finished unpacking everything (I know, but me and my gf are both busy and lazy).
I realized my little witch hunters army has vanished! It was about 800 points strong, and though I didn't use it much it had some very characterful and converted minis (my LOTR ringwraith-to-inquisitor, my IST vet sarge with beakie armour, 13 various inquisitorial henchmen I could mix and match, some kasrkin, some seraphim, etc). I remember putting them in a shoe box when we moved from the old place and as everything got progressively unpacked, thinking "they'll turn up soon, they must be in one of the last boxes."
Well they didn't. They never showed up and now everything is unpacked. They are lost in the warp. Don't quite know why I'm posting this except that I know you other 40k players will feel my pain.
Farewell my brave witch hunters!
I'm sympathising now, though it doesn't carry well, over the web.
You have just recieved the Amish Computer Virus. Since the Amish don't have computers, it is based on the honor system. So please delete all the files from your computer. Thank you for you cooperation.

Lost in the warp, eh? You know since they got lost in the warp, then they are currently being slowly mutated in Daemonettes right now? I know it doesn't make your loss any easier, but just remember that if they had followed the admonishions of the emporer, then they probably wouldn't have been sucked into the abyss...
Well, at least those faithfull are with the Emperor at the moment. Have peace knowing that they are with him. Peace, my son.
Fear not, for the inexhaustable armies of The Emperor will avenge their disappearence, at least now if you restart them you can include a good bit of fluff about the entire army vanishing into the warp, causing them to be restarted, if done right it work out as a really good piece of fluff......but still, a shame to lose models, I know how it feels 1500 points of lost and damned, my cat jumped on the box as I was carrying them up a ladder to my hobby room in the loft, the whole thing went crashing down two flights of stairs, when i opened the box at the bottom it was like I'd bought painted but unassembled models.....
Robotnik did you check with the removal compny or the new owners of your property to see if they had by chance came across your army, a long shot i know but still worth a try.
No, there was no removal company. We moved ourselves with a hire truck and a bunch of mates. That's what's so mysterious :ninja:
And I know no-one who helped us swiped them because besides the fact that I trust them all, none of them are interested in warhammer except my brother in law. And I think I would have noticed if he showed up to our next game with some witch hunters that looked just like mine
Juts one of those wierd things I guess.
Maybe aliens took them (I just wanted to use the alien smiley!)
I have them and I will not free them until you send me a bagel with butter and cream cheese and a giant mug of hot chocolate! MWAHAHAHAHA!!:shifty:Originally Posted by robotnik
