All shaken up...Well I am feeling a wee bit dilicate tonight, as of a problem on my way home. Well I'll start from the beginning; Today I went to Lincoln as a day out and shopping trip with the parents (my means of transport). Everythings going well - I get the new BT codex and the kind staff member allows me to spend time wandering through the new Wargear book - rather nice of him. I asked about the dwarf book but he told me the staff army delas came in that day and he failed to order one; but he couldn't go rooting through their deals for the book. ;___; I then got a number of BL novels including.. GRUDGEBEARER!! It's about bloody time too. And after wandering about the city a bit more I discovered the Firefly series, brought it went into the next shop along and what was the first thing I see? Firefly DVD... ten quid cheaper. >=[ But alas I have it. Oh and I got a few shirts that are christmas presents from the parents.
Congradulations on your good day if only mine was as good! #sigh#
Well, good buy when it comes to the Firefly DVD (even if it was 10 quid more expensive).
And for the car accident, hope you don't get any neckpains from it, can be a bit troublesome.

Firefly is an excellent DVD series, remarkable ensemble playing. You could always have taken the DVD back to the first shop and insisted that they return it, by the way. Although if it is not faulty as such, they are within their rights to give you credit or a same-value replacement. However, many shops will give you the money back to keep your goodwill IF you tell them that it is not suitable for the purpose for which you bought it - maybe because you after leaving the shop you spoke to your girlfriend on your mobile and she told you she already had that DVD, for example.
I'm sorry to hear about the car smack, and glad you are okay. I hope your dad will be a little more wary in future - myself, I was taught to assume that all other drivers on the road are idiots and so I tend to err on the side of caution, giving people lots of space etc. Also, I don't do road rage - I drive in a calm, cool, stoic manner. And my car is fairly nippy so I can get out of trouble and brake fairly smartly. I have been involved in two minor accidents myself - both proven to be the other persons fault. But they still shake you up a bit, I know.
Ryan Dancey, Vice President of Wizards of the Coast, believed that TSR failed because of "...a near total inability to listen to its customers, hear what they were saying, and make changes to make those customers happy." Are you listening, Games Workshop ?
Meh, not like I'm going to be short of food or anything for a while with the extra cost - I'm a dwarf, we stockpile our money - but I could have done what you said, although I would have missed the points on my WH Smiths card. I can now safely get something for £27.99 free!! WOOT!
And my dad is an ok driver, not the best but he's safe enough. I think the lorry driver was as much in the wrong if not more - oh and he nudged us three times not just once. Once more I feel glad in knowing I sit the other side of the car - could have been a lot worse for me.
Oh crud i'm so sorry of course i meant up untill the truck hit you (I probably sounded evil in my last post. Oh the shame! )Originally Posted by King Ulrik Flamebeard
