There's a new blog entry added:
Rain.I hate the rain. It's always raining. From the loud, spattering rain that keeps you awake all night, to the drizzle the obscures everything you try to see or do. Rain that soaks you to the bone, chilling your insides and making you shiver uncontrollably, rain that falls so hard and fast that it tries to drown you in a sea of melancholy and woe. It never ends, it never ceases.
No, that's not true. The rain does stop, if only long enough to make way for the hail. Hail that hits you in the face, knocking you to the ground. The hail draws blood, seeping from the nose as if someone sucker punched you before running off. Then the hail ends, and the rain begins again.
I hate the rain. Why won't the rain just go away?
I know how you feel Caluin (well about the rain part. It's not cold enough for hail here yet). We had nonstop rain for a week and a half here. Outside of my dorm room looked like a swamp with underwater trees growing out of it. It was quite nasty. In short rain sucks.
heh probably... just tryin to sympathize. where are you btw?
yea there is always rain, but not constant rain as you seem to be lamenting about.
I love the rain, everyone wears a coat when its raining so my poor dress sence doesnt show up. Plus the sound of it at night soothes me to sleep.
Just as well, Plymouth is between prevailing winds and an area of high ground.
Every time you read this sig: a fairie dies!
Indeed, I too love the rain, which makes me wonder why I'm posting a reply here, Caluin, but anyway...
Rather, I could do without the sun. Stupid, useless thing, that. As soon as we nix that, we'll be golden (please, nobody go off on how we'd all freeze to death without the sun, I'm not a complete moron and am, of course, exaggerating).
Still and all, nothing beats a dark, cold, windy autumn night with beating, driving rain throughout. You don't want your rain? Give it to me, please.
Alright, point taken, but as a proponent and admirer of rain, and having heard way to many god-damned weather people say "Just another dreary morning of rain", I'm quick to anger when it is used as a scapegoat for bad tidings.
Anywho, I've been mollified, so I'm leaving now. Cheers!
