Hi this is a thread so that you can muse about the man (or woman in some cases) in your life.
Starting us off- i've been seeing my girlfriend Nikki for over a year now, originally she was my University lecturer which lead to some very difficult moments. Suffice to say we're still together even months after i've finished the course and with total honesty i can say i love her.
Okie if that didn't freak you out then feel free
*skips around like a hopless romantic*
I still hate Twiglets!
My boyfriend (suprized we're not married yet) Isitused (Garrett) have been together for 5 years. We met on YIM, he asked me if I wanted to go get lunch after talking for an hour. So we went to Jack in the box, mmmm spicy chicken sandwich *drool*. He drove all the way from his work in Reseda to come see me for lunch (30 minute drive).
Now he's a PC tech for the Glendale school district, my dad's his boss *hehe*. Gammer and PC tech Ultra Nerd!!
I got kicked out of my house a year after we met, so I live with him now. Although we still live with his parents cause we're saving up to open a game store. As soon as thats done, we're going to move out into an apartment or condo. Then after that, we're going to get married.
We're having problems saving money for this game store though, people keep hitting him on the freeway on his way to work. Two weeks ago some woman side swipped him, took his car in (was in for a week) got it back nice and new. As soon as monday the next week came around, WHAM some stupid ***** hit him cause she was tail gating. So now his car is totaled and he needs to get a new one (only getting 4,000 for the totaling too), so there goes the money saved for the game store Man California sucks. But when we open the game store our life is going to be set in motion

I have been with my boyfriend for nine months now. It's a bit hard because the last few months have been a long-distance relationship. But we see each other quite often, since he travels to visit me. We also talk on skype every day. We've learned so much from each other, and we are friends as well as boy/girlfriend...
In case you don't know yet, he is PrOtOcoN. He's really great, and I love him.
On a different note, I was together with another guy before, for more than a year, and he is now my best friend. We split up because I was leaving the country, and we decided to split up rather than having a long-distance thing. (Since we're both young, it's stupid to make that sort of commitment.) Anyway... he's my best friend, and he knows me extremely well. He's the person I always know I can turn to. I think it's quite uncommon isn't it? To remain friends?
I claim the title of "mistress of the vindictive"

But yeah... I haven't seen my girlfriend in quite awhile now. We're both 20 (not 19. I missed the 9 when trying to set my age, and my birthday was just this past Tuesday), and we met in grade 10 of High School. Her name is Summer. We stayed together all the way through High School, right from Gr 10 to grad and then beyond. Thing is, she had to go to University in Kingston (another city a few hours from Toronto, for those who don't know) and I won't be getting into College until next year, so... We've been apart a lot. I've only seen her a couple times, because she's either studying her butt off, or I'm busy working, getting ready to pay for College next year, and we never have any time to see one another... I miss her a lot...
Hopefully, things will work out ok and once Christmas comes around, she'll have some time and I can go to see her over the holidays. Its a real challenge for me to get anywhere though, because I'm visually impared and I can't drive (legally anyway...:shifty: ).
Sorry for the rant... Just thought I'd let it out... Hope I didn't scare anyone.
