    St. Patricks Day

Yep, its that time of the year again:yes:

What do you guys have planned? I know you don't have the luxury of having the day off, but surely a few scoops of a Friday evening to celabrate the man who got rid of snakes from Ireland, (ohhhh and brought christainity to us heathens:shifty: )

My plans include sleeping in, then going to the GAA club championship finals, and then spend the rest of the day in the pub, for a good six or seven hours of drinking:x

Ironic that old Patrick himself was Welsh!

I'd love to, but I'm out of cash. I spent £50 on booze getting absolutely ripped off my tits on friday (and I still owe a tenner to a mate for the taxi home), and what remains of my bank account is about to be emptied for exam resit money.

    Ich habe keine geld.

Don't drink too much chemicalcavern, and bad luck Phobos. I'm saving my money for warhammer, I'm too young for drinking yet.

Most of my friends are flying to Montreal to be in the Paddy's day parade. Sadly I am not able to make it. I am planning on taking the afternoon off work, and getting really pissed in the local pub. And then being really hung-over for work on saturday.

I was hired just before Paddy's day last year. I went out anyway and ended up showing up for work still smelling of vomit and beer. When my boss asked me what happened, I told him that it had been paddy's day, what did he expect.

He laughed and said "I knew you were a Newfie when I hired you, so I guess this is to be expected."

that all sounds much more fun than my plans
I'm going to be getting two (2) ingrown toenails surgically fixed, so there goes any chance of drinking, although I won't be able to walk properly afterwards, it'll be just like I had gotten completely wasted - except for the sober bit

Lack of money is never and excuse Inkie!, what with the alcohol content of some of your run of the mill household cleaning solutions!

@ Boba, do you know what Tir Na Nog means? In Irish it means "The Land of the Young" and it plays a large role in one of our greatest myths. Whoever lives in Tir Na Nog never ages.

@mpdscott, hard luck about the toenails man, you should drink some whiskey to dull the pain

@cllzzrd, next year send me a email, and I will meet up with you, or at least keep and eye out for you and your band so I can shout out your name when you are walking past!

    Anyone got anymore plans?

Mouthwash! Yup, that's what we used to use in my army days. Nothing like minty fresh vomit. :x

NOTE: This is NOT a good idea!!
