You mean like actually making the chainmail, so like those guys at the medieval fairs and renisance fairs whe have their own booths and sell it to people for hundreds of dollars. AWSOME where did you learn how to do that.

armoursmithing is, to say the least, an interesting hobby. somewhat more practical than wargaming, but less useful than leathersmithing or gunsmithing.
A friend of mine from University had a girlfriend back home who was, of all things, a trained blacksmith, with an emphasis on armoursmithing. She was, unsurprisingly into reinactment and that sort of thing; and actually was in the process of making my friend a chainmail hauberk to go with the other stuff he had. Funny thing was, my friend was definately the nerd type (98lbs weakling), and his girlfriend was quite capable of kickin his ass if she wanted.
I wonder how they've been since I left Uni......

Wow... Chainsmithing. I'd give it a go. i wouldnt do it often. the most i'd want is a glove.
