Welcome to Librarium Online!
We have any bikers, ricer rocketeers, cafe racers, or generl hooligans on motorized 2-wheels?
If so what do you ride and where do you ride it?
I own a '79 Honda Hawk and a '06 Harley Davidson Sportser 1200 Roadster.
Next spring I will be the proud owner of a '07 Harley Davidson Dyna Street Bob.
To keep this a more general discussion, if you don't have a bike, do you want one? Are you going to get one? Or if you don't like them, let us know why.
I'm not a biker (i'm still learning to drive, but I TEACH powerboating :shifty but I do love the macines.
I'm not a big fan of sports bikes, I sometimes watch or play moto GP. I'm more of a cruiser man, and I do love Harleys and Triumphs. Maybe one day.....
That said, the riders round here are total kamikazees! They do 200ft wheelies along the A40 outside my hometown! And you can here them every sunday, even from the small villiage in the Black Mountains where I live. That mixed with Automatic firearms discharge from the local Army base puts me in a mind to watch Terminator 2.....
hmmmm, good Idea *rummages round for DVD*
I had a bike once...it was a 1982 Yamaha Seca 750cc and I loved it...I purged myself of the need to go 100+mph on that bike so I no longer feel the need to break the land speed record. Unfortunately marriage children and life in general separated me from my two-wheeled love child. Now that I'm divorced I think I'll rekindle my love of motorcycles. I do want a nice cruiser and will probably invest in a Harley (although there are a lot of nice Japanese Harley clones I could see myself buying) or possibly a Honda Valkyrie.
I hear voices...and they don't like you!

I'm not as much of a motor cylce fan as I am a car fan, but I still do find them interesting.
First off, let me say that I'm not old enough to drive, so I don't have a motercycle. I think they're cool and like watching them race, but I don't ever plan on getting one. The main reason for this is because I think they're dangerous - at least a lot more dangerous then a car or truck.
Anyway, those are my thoughts on motorcycles, or similar vehicles.
I wouldn't mind a dirt bike. We had a few in my circle of friends when we were growing up and they were a great laugh to take out on the park and stuff, bit of a bird magnet as well if you knew how to ride one. I'm not that big into road bikes and stuff, or the big ones that look like motorised Choppers, but some of the racing bikes and superbikes are pretty nice.
